Firiko tensed ever so slightly at the touch, his ears twitching.

Alex looked down and realized what he was doing. He quickly moved his hand to his lap.

Firiko watched him, tilting his head slightly.

Alex turned the rabbit, making sure it was cooking correctly. He glanced at Firiko and smiled.

Firiko smiled back softly, watching him.

Asked turned back to the meat. It was sizzling, and he stuck his tongue out in concentration as he cooked.

Firiko watched him, Cutie….

Nodding to himself, Alex took the rabbit off the fire and stuck the spit in the ground to let it cool.

Firiko watched, suddenly very hungry.

Eventually, Alex picked the rabbit up again, dividing it in half. He gave Firiko his share, quietly holding his share in one hand.

Fjrkko smiled, taking it in his jaw, and staying in wolf form to eat.

Alex nibbled at his share, not really eating.

Firiko watched him, shifting to human form halfway through and giving him a reassuring smile.

Asked smiled back, seemingly distracted.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Huh? Uh, yeah, I'm fine." Asked smiled again, setting his half eaten breakfast down.
