Lilian nodded "and for these two I'll bring some cream and water." She said, walking.g off to get the drinks

She smiled at Lillian and sighed reluctantly, petting Spot as he turned in circles and moved around in her lap, seeming quite happy that he had gotten what he wanted.

"persuasive little thing." Loki muttered softly with a laugh as he saw Spot circle for attention. He glanced down at Quennie who was pawing at his lap "you too?"

She laughed as well, pampering the puppy until he settled down in her lap and just wagged his tail. “He just knows already that I’ll give into his antics.”

Loki nodded "quick learner," he shook his head "the bar just raised, didn't it?"

She pinched her fingers together slightly, “A little, bit not much.” A soft smile made its way onto her face and she snuggled the puppy close.

"a bit is an understatement." He said with an eyebrow raised. He smiled, glad that Spot made her happy

She shrugged and smiled at him, Spot nuzzling into her hand as she stopped petting him for a moment, “You’ll just have to step up your game.”

"I will, don't worry." He said confidently, glancing up at her with a grin while petting Queenie

Avalin’s smile grew and she nodded towards Queenie, “She’s raising the bar as well, isn’t she?”

He nodded "a bit. Not much." He said lightly, glancing up as Lillian brought the drinks. "Alright, and to eat?"

Avalin thought for a minute before looking up at Lillian, taking a tiny sip of the hot chocolate as well, “What would you recommend?”

SHe thought for a second "the steak and eggs are pretty good." She said with a smile "so are the almond and walnut waffles."

“Hmm..” She thought for another moment before nodding and smiling, “I’ll have the almond and walnut waffles please.”

She nodded "good choice. And for you, prince?" She asked, glancing over at Loki.
"You're best crepes" he said with a smile

She settled into her seat and went back to petting Spot once she ordered, silent as she smiled and took another tiny sip of the still very hot hot chocolate.

"is it good?" Loki asked as he watched her pet the dog, taking a sip of his own drink

Avalin nodded and her smile grew, “Its amazing, what about your drink?” Spot settled into her lap and seemed quite happy as he continued to be petted.

He nodded "is's pretty good. So which forest were you thinking of going to?"

“The one that’s cooler and more fun,” She replied, “I don’t know what my choices are.”

He nodded "well just go to the closest one…once we figure out where that is." He glanced down at Quennie "any ideas?"

Avalin couldn’t help but giggle when he asked Queenie for suggestions, shaking her head and going back to drinking her hot chocolate.

Queenie stretched in his lap and glanced up at him as if toy say Nope, not really. Loki shook his head "Closest one it is then." he said, glancing up again as Lilian brought over food. "Thank you again lillian for everything." He said sincerly before digging into his crepes.

“Thank you,” She said just as sincerely, a bright smile on her face as she started on her waffles.

Lillian smiled happily "enjoy the food you two!" She headed back to the counter
Loki glanced up and grinned "how are they, good I hope?"

Avalin smiled and nodded furiously, “They’re amazing, want to try some?” She pushed the plate to the middle of the table and still continued taking waffle bits from it.

He took a small price "they're amazing, you're right." He took a bit more and pushed his own plate towards the middle "try some,"

She took a small piece of his food and tried it, taking another small piece when she tasted how good it was, “Definitely awesome, A plus food.”

He laughed softly "better than what I can cook?" He asked, dramatically placing a hand over his chest "I'm insulted,"

“Love, I’m sorry but your cooking is nowhere near this good,” She replied only somewhat jokingly, laughing at his dramatics.
