(Well it's not that bad right?)
It was finally the middle of the day Caleb and Rykah would 'hang out'. The store bell right and he came down the stairs, "How may I help you today?" he said still looking down.
Rykah had just walked into the bakery again, his wings held tight to his side as his tail flicked nervously. "Uhm… Caleb?"
He had flour on his face that he didn't wash off, "Oh! Rykah! I didn't know it was you…" he turned around saw Rykah's outfit, "Damn..I…uhh l-let me go change," he smiled and ran upstairs stumbling He put on actual clothes and washed his face and came back downstairs. "Want to go get something to drink? I'll close the shop once we leave."
Rykah resisted the urge to laugh at the other's surprise, playing with the hem of his hoodie. "Uhm.. sure… I guess.." he hadn't really had a plan for this.
He took his hand and walked out of the store. Caleb locked up the store and walked over to his motorcycle. He patted the back on the seat, "Hop on then."
Rykah let the other lead him outside, hesitantly climbing onto the back with him, careful of the other's tails.
"Sorry, I have a lot of tails. It's from my mom and dad weird, huh?" He kicked the kickstand and rode down the street looking for the cafe that he wanted. "You know, I wanted to say this for a while but, you're really cute, you know that?"
(Did that make sense and hope you feel better)
Rykah nodded, nervous about being on the bike as he kept his wings close.
He spotted the cafe and pulled over slowly. He put the kickstand down and held out his hand, "We're here."
Rykah nodded, carefully slipping off as his wings relaxed some.
"You okay?" he asked holding the door open.
"Yeah I'm good," He said, slipping inside.
He sat down at the nearest table, "I want you to know that even though we're soulmates, doesn't mean that we have to be together. I also understand if you don't like me that way," he stumbled on what to say.
Rykah sat down across from him and took his hand, "How about we just take it slow and get to know each other first?" he said quietly.
"I'd like that. Well, what do you do for fun?" he rested his cheek on his hand.
"Depends on the day.." he said softly. "Sometimes its art, occasionally trying to fly properly,"
"Well, you do more than me anyway," he chuckled, "I used to go to high school, but when I graduated I didn't have any money to go to college. So, I work at the bakery full-time now."
Rykah nodded, "Actually in the process of finding a job, though it's slow going.."
Caleb bit his lip, "Well, you could always work with me? I could use more spots at the bakery and some company once in a while." He fiddled with his thumbs.
(I think I spelled some things wrong XD, also I could take you up on that yo-kai battle if that's a possibility)
Rykah smiled at that, "But I've never been any good at baking…" he said softly.
(Yay! It'll have to wait for the weekend tho, I don't have access to my 3DS unless I'm at my dad's, which is every other weekend.)
(well the weekends almost here so I don't mind waiting :). )
He chuckled, "I can teach you or if you don't want to bake you can always work the cash register it's the easiest thing in the world trust me."
Rykah smiled, "I'd be happy to learn.." he said happily.
"That makes you officially hired. I don't think you need to go through a whole interview if you're going to tell me about your life anyway. Oh! I almost forgot to ask do you want anything?" he passed the menu to Rykah.
Rykah blinked when he remembered why they were there, taking and giving it a glance before pointing out the strawberry milkshake.
Caleb called the waiter over and ordered a hot chocolate while Rykah got the strawberry milkshake. "Let's see…..hmmm when I was I think 5, I told my parents that I was gay and they freaked out at first but, they learned to accept it."
Rykah shrugged, "I don't think I ever worried about it… honestly my family was more worried about keeping track of me first.."
"Are you like on the run or something?" he joked.
"No, but I used to love exploring in the woods and would sometimes get lost…" he said sheepishly, his tail flicking.
he chuckled, "So, you like the woods i'll keep that in mind.. I can't ask people for things directly. It feels weird for me." their drink came and Caleb took a dip of his, "Stupid right?"
"No… it's not weird.." he said, sipping his milkshake.
"What about you any flaws you got?" he looked at him in a daze.
