Raphael scrambled away from the trashing bird and the two fighting. He felt helpless as he hid, but he didn't have time to take gambles without a proper weapon.
The robed man shouted and was caught off balance, not expecting Raphael to be traveling with another.
Arthur quickly had the man pinned with his sabre to the guy's throat. "Leave, or die, those are your options." he growled.
"I'd rather see you bleed," the man spat, thrashing against Arthur.
Arthur gave him a death stare, his blade pressing against the other as Aura whips lashed him to the ground. "Answer." he said, tone leaving no room for arguement.
"Kill him," Raphael said from where he sat perched in a tree. "He'll just follow us again."
Arthur ignored Raphael. "Answer" he said again.
"Listen to the pigeon, " he rasped, "I'd rather die than flee like a coward."
"Fine" Said Arthur, summoning a whisp of Aura. swirling it around he flung the man through it. "Dealt with."
Raphael jumped down from the branch. "I would've fought back, but there were too many variables for me to consider and a lot more things that could go wrong than I care for."
Arthur nodded in understanding as his powerful, pulsing Aura seemed to vanish, as his blade returned to it's original form as the band on his wrist.
He tilted his head curiously at the changing blade but didn't say anything about it.
Arthur sighed, stepping into the trees for a moment, before returning with his catch. "Ready for a meal?"
He seemed to perk up at that. "Yup. I'm starving." He quickly went and grabbed the bunch of twigs he had dropped, then worked on making the fire.
Arthur sat down to watch him, eventually moving to clean and gut the rabbits.
He made a sound of triumph as he got the fire started, keeping his wings a safe distance from the flames.
Arthur laid out strips of meat on the grass for the other to take care of.
Raphael got to work, mostly working on autopilot as he grabbed the strips and cooked them.
Arthur watched with interest but stayed quiet and out of the way.
Raphael sat back as he waited for the strips to cook.
Arthur eventually flopped back sprawled on the grass.
Raphael looked over and chuckled as he saw Arthur sprawled on the grass. "Comfy?" he asked with a hint of amusement.
"Yep" he replied boredly.
"Hmm." Raphel nodded his head slightly in Arthur's direction, and the wind picked up as many leaves as possible and dumped it on the other male.
Arthur yelped in surprise, spluttering for a moments as he sat up, leaves sticking in his hair and on his clothing.
He cackled, falling back as he laughed.
Arthur gave him a flat stare, before snapping his fingers, causing vines to sprout out of thin air and lightly encircle him in flowers.
Raphael yelped, flaring his wings to keep them from getting entangled.
The vines were very delicate, and broke as soon as the other moved, but kept growing anyway.
He stayed still, looking up at the different flowers growing around him.
The flowers were of many different kinds. from marigold to buttercup, to lilies and roses. they came in many colors too, often multicolored in combinations that were definitely not normal.
