“Probably not… hopefully” Sebastian commented.
A small green butterfly landed on Hinata’s shoulder.
“Hello, can you hear me?” a familiar voice sounded from the butterfly.
“Probably not… hopefully” Sebastian commented.
A small green butterfly landed on Hinata’s shoulder.
“Hello, can you hear me?” a familiar voice sounded from the butterfly.
Hinata smiled at what Sebastian said, then turned her attention to the butterfly.
"I can hear you loud and clear andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)."
(Start of the second ending sequence)
“Great. I need you to help me with something, all of you. Somewhere in the Labyrinth there should be a Golden Butterfly Artifact. If any of you can find it, tell me as soon as possible as that specific insect is the key to unlocking my fullest potential” he informed.
“You think you can do that for me? Doesn’t have to be soon, but if you can find it, that’d be great” he added quickly.
(I’ve got to go, see ya!)
(See you later dude!)
"That should be manageable," Hinata said. They could still deal with the armor and take a look around for the Golden Butterfly Artifact.
“As I’ve said…” Cronos walked up to Loki “…looking around won’t be any help. Your best bet is to contact Edge who is the Master of the Portal Hallways, see if he can help. He’s at the Central Hall” he suggested with the slightest hint of a smile from his cloak.
"I don't trust your plan or you one bit Cronos" Loki sighed giving Cronos a once over
The butterfly radiated a small giggle in satisfaction.
“Alright, thanks” the butterfly then flew away. As soon as the butterfly was out of sight, an explosion set in by the edge of the Labyrinth; a large one as well. The smoke that came out was… crimson colored.
Cronos raised a brow.
“Oh? And why is that…?” He asked plainly, not wanting to deal with anyone right now. He was still fidgeting with the inscription from earlier.
Hinata watched the butterfly for a moment as it flew away before turning to the others.
"Well, I think-" She was cut off by the explosion, which instantly drew her attention.
"I think that can't be good."
Both Cassius and Sebastian turned to the explosion.
“Should we? Or should we not? I mean, we’ve been through a lot…” Cassius proposed and what he said was considered true to some degree.
Another explosion set off a little to the right of the first one.
Hinata watched the second explosion, sighing.
"If you guys don't want to go deal with it, I'm fine with just dealing with the jobs we have already."
Cassius closed his eyes and sighed.
“Well… looks like we’ve got to go there because the damn Scorpio is apparently the one causing those…” he explained tiredly.
Sebastian turned to him.
“Looks like we’ve got no choice then”
Hinata shook her head to herself.
"Let's just go then."
Cronos ‘tsked’.
“Don’t even answer, it doesn’t matter anyways…” he then disappeared from Loki’s sight.
Cassius picked up Kohaku who had been shielded with Sebastian’s energy sphere all this time.
Once the group got closer to where the explosion had taken place, the scent of blood filled the air. It was getting harder to breathe normally especially with all the particles floating amongst the empty space.
A golden armored figure can be seen ripping a Knight’s heart out; specifically Desmond’s. Three other corpses can be seen beside his; Daniel, Faith and Luis, all with their hearts gouged out and still beating beside them.
Hinata nearly gagged when she saw the bodies, but kept herself in check by putting her hand over her mouth. Still holding her one sword, she prepared for battle.
Turning around, the Scorpio warrior revealed that they had one emerald green eye and one which was fully bloodshot red. Their excess brown hair was tainted by the blood of the corpses.
“Give me a break… I just killed four of these useless warriors and you’re here thinking you can fight me…?” he complained as his sharp tipped tail pierced Desmond’s heart that he was holding, sucking in the blood that remained inside of it before the tail discarded the now dried up heart of the man.
“Seems like fate doesn’t like you very much…” within a blink of an eye, the warrior appeared behind Sebastian, kicking him towards the group of corpses before he grabbed onto Cassius’ shoulder, breaking the pads and crippling parts of his shoulder. Sliding under Cassius, causing him to fall, he appeared in front of Hinata, knocking her sword away from her hand before she could even response.
What Cassius said about the Scorpio Uniform being the swiftest was definitely true.
Hinata simply called her sword back, slashing.
"You act as if that's new information for me." She herself hated dealing with speedsters; she usually let her husband deal with them. Of course, she wasn't going to let this one hurt her companions.
“If you move fast enough—” a voice sounded behind Hinata as the Scorpio Warrior in front of Hinata just disappeared “—you’ll be able to create a clone of yourself where you were before…” ending the statement, the warrior stabbed Hinata through her back with their tipped tail which aimed for her heart.
Hinata coughed up blood weakly, struggling for a moment before going limp. For a lack of a better term, she was dead.
When Hinata coughed up blood, the Scorpio warrior seemed to tear up. They grabbed Hinata by her shoulders and slowly pulled their tail out. Laying her down on the ground, they knelt down beside her.
“Wh…What have I done…” they seemed to be shedding out tears. They hovered their hand above the wound on Hinata’s body.
“Please wake up, please…” the tears of the Knight fell on Hinata’s hand.
When the Knight pulled their tail out of Hinata and set her down, the healing process began. After a few moments, Hinata shot up, coughing loudly.
"Damnit, I hate it when I die.." She muttered, clearly exhausted.
The Knight who was healing her was not Cassius as he went unconscious when he fell and it was definitely not Sebastian as he didn’t have healing abilities. With the process of elimination, it’s safe to say that the person who helped Hinata was… the Scorpio Warrior who was trying his hardest to force the Corrupted Puppeteer in him out of him.
“Get out damn it…GET OUT!!”
The puppeteer fell out from the Knight’s back to which the Knight quickly turned and broke its core, breathing heavily doing so. The red dust that covered their eyes went away. The Scorpio warrior soon fainted from blood loss from his back where the corruptor came out from.
Hinata, when the Knight pushed the Corrupted Puppeteer out of them, moved closer. When they fainted, Hinata got up on her knees and pried the armor off of them.
When the armor was removed, it was clear why the Knight had cried when they realized what they’ve done when they were corrupted.
The Knight was one who swore, at his final moments, to protect Hinata until he can no longer be resurrected; Matthew.
Hinata, seeing who the Knight was, sighed in relief. She was glad to see Matthew, but right now she was concerned with both his and Cassius's well beings.
Sebastian slowly stood up, dusting himself off with every grunt. The place he landed was more than the worst place present; he landed straight onto Desmond’s metallic wings meaning he was stabbed by approximately a hundred knife like feathers. He limped to Hinata and sat down beside her.
“He’s a good man…” the robotic warrior brought up as he eyed Matthew. Afterwards, he turned to Cassius and walked over to him. He carried Cassius on his back while using his bubble (remember Sebastian’s bubble from the Arena playground episode?) to store Matthew inside.
“Let’s go somewhere safer… somewhere we might find help”
(Choose : The Celestial Hall, The Research Building, The Royal Building, The Central Building, or The Soul Garden)
"Let's head to the Celestial Hall…" Hinata stood slowly, her death having drained much of her energy.
Sebastian nodded and started to guide her towards it. He was limping but had to force himself to carry the weight of the doctor while using his carrying ability in addition to having his back pierced back a hundred knives; it was hard for the Knight.
Arriving at the hall, Sebastian gently opened the door to find… no one, absolute silence can be heard inside the hall.
“Guess it’s better than meeting someone who’s trying to kill us” he commented, setting Cassius down and slowly releasing Matthew on the floor before he too laid down on the ground.
Since Sebastian didn’t having a healing ability, recovering seemed to be hard, unless one of the Zodiac Uniforms had a support ability that can be useful.
"Damnit.. well, at least you're right…" Hinata sat down, pulling out her last protein bar.
"Things aren't looking so good…"
“Yeah… they’re not at all. On the bright side, we’ve got only one more to collect before we can go deal with the hidden hunters… I wonder where they are by this point” Sebastian brought up, waving his hand nonchalantly as he spoke.
"Knowing our luck, at least one is about to attack us." Hinata took a bite of her food, praying to whatever "deities " were listening that this wasn't the case.
