Michi smiled, slowly descending.
"We're nearly there!" She called over the sound of the motor and the wind.

Sita descended after her, grinning as she wondered where on earth they might be going.

Michi soon set her motorcycle down, a huge grin on her face.
"We're here." They were in front of the entrance to a cave.

“Okayyyy…” Sita set herself down and peered into it. “What’s in there?”

"One of my favorite places. Let's go!" Michi swung off her motorcycle, which disappeared as soon as she was off. She stepped into the entrance of the cave.

Sita blinked in surprise before hesitantly fluttering her wings and stepping inside after Michi. "Care to explain…why? It looks awful dark for someone so bright."

Michi laughed at that.
"Trust me, it won't for long!" Michi took Sita's hand and pulled her into the cave. Soon they couldn't see anything.
"We're nearly there!" Michi's voice cut through from in front of Sita.

Sita's wings left a nervous trail of white and yellow glimmering, small scale dust as they went, her wings were fluttering so much from nervousness. "It doesn't seem to be getting any different," Sita replied, still skeptic.

"Oh, trust me." Suddenly, Michi stopped.
"We're here." With that, Michi flicked a lighter on. Purple and light red crystals reflected and refracted the light, magnifying it and causing the entire cavern to light up.

"Oh. Oh, god. Um…wow." Sita was left speechless in the presence of all the light. "Yeah, never mind, this is cool."

Michi smiled, the purple and red light playing on her skin and hair.
"I thought you would like it."

shoot her hair is pretty tghjnhugytghuj "How did you find this place?" She asked instead, stepping forward a little bit. The light did magical effects on the white and yellow canvas that was her wings, playing all sorts of different colors on it.

"Well, my sister and myself were stationed here for a while for her job, and I did some exploring." Michi's eyes traveled over Sati's wings hungrily.
So beautiful.

"It's beautiful. God, it really is." Sati looked over to Michi. "You sure we're not in another dimension?"

"Technically… no. It still exists in the same dimension, but on another plane. It's complicated, to say the least." Michi smiled, setting the lighter down. It was an older one, staying lit when she let go.

Sita glanced down at the match, then back up at Michi. "Like alternate realities? This seems like the perfect place to discuss inter-dimensional logistics," She commented with a smile, sitting down on a red crystal that reflected against her wings.

"Well. Okay. This is how it works; this reality we are in now exists in the same bubble like the one you are familiar with, so it isn't considered a different dimension. To be considered a different dimension, they must be separated by Ether. And no, not the medical ether." Michi tried to keep it simple; if she explained everything in its entirety, they would be here for a long time.

Sita shrugged, pushing the medical Ether cone out of her mind. "I guess that makes sense." Her wings fluttered again, leaving sparkling silver glitter on top of the already beautiful reflective stones.

"There's… a lot of scientific mumbo-jumbo about this, but basically the only way to truly travel to another dimension is to use a portal." Michi shrugged, mesmerized by the effect of Sati's dust on the crystals. The crystals seemed to absorb it, reflecting the light even more. It was beautiful.

Sita grinned at her, leaning forward a little bit. "Sounds fancy."

Like you- NO.
Michi smiled sweely. Ah, what the heck.
"The only fancy thing here is you." Oh god did I just call her a thing tgyhujikjn bvfgyhu IDIOT!

Luckily, Sita laughed and tilted her head at Michi, grinning, her wings fluttering nervously again. "You think?"

"I do." Michi leaned against a crystal next to Sita.
"And I think you're the most awe-striking person in this room."

"Aw. I would argue. I mean-" She waved her hand towards Michi. "You. It doesn't really need explaining."

"Oh? Well, I still say it's you. I mean, just look at those wings!" Michi laughed lightly and smiled.

Sita laughed again, glancing behind her as the wings fluttered out of nervousness. "Well, thank you. They've always been a setback to me, but if they're that nice to you…" She shrugged, a smug grin on her face.

"A setback? Only if you let them be!" Michi grinned back, glad to be spending time in her favorite place with- dare she say it- her favorite person?

"Well, I have to hide them in the hospital…and in most public places," She admitted, tilting her head fondly at Michi. "Not everyone is used to interdimensional, fantasy-kin beings running around like you."

Michi put a hand to her chest in mock shock.
"Really?" She giggled, resting her hand on Sita's.
"Well, now that you know about this forest, you can come through to it any time you like."

Oh shoot cdtyugiojuvtyy Sita grinned. "Can anyone just waltz in whenever, then?"
