Lillian looked back and gave her a smile, "I'm Lillian. Are you here for the play or just to hide out?"
Lillian looked back and gave her a smile, "I'm Lillian. Are you here for the play or just to hide out?"
Laura cleared her throat and whispered, "Hiding out."
Lillian nodded knowing a lot of kids came to hide out in the theater, "Okay. Just try not to get in the way of any theater kids and your good."
Laura nodded shyly. Her lips moved in a barely audible "Laura".
"Nice to meet you Laura," Lillian smiled before turning back to the stage, "Have fun watching the magic happen."
The shy girl watched Lillian a second longer, then quickly wrote something in her journal.
Cassie had quickly lost interest, and was now wandering up onto the stage. She hummed softly as she poked around, her scowl still firmly in place.
(I’m still here but idk what to do lmao)
(Lol, throw your character in.)
Lillian hopped back up onto the stage and looked around, "Where's Doc? Or the cast list? That supposed to be out today."
“Does anyone know what musical we’re doing, anyways?” Lloyd asked. I have no idea what I signed up for…
"We're doing West Side Story," Lilian responded, "I told you this yesterday I think."
“Did you? Sorry, I was a bit disoriented. Do you think I’ll get a minor role?”
"With your singing maybe something a bit larger," Lillian responded truthfully, "But I don't know shit."
Lloyd sighed. “Everyone seems to think I’m really good and all, but a major role… I-I don’t know, it’s a bit lofty, isn’t it?”
"Cast list will be up in the hall in 10 minutes, same as it is every year." Belle hadn't looked up from her phone whilst she sat on the stage. "Singing and acting was taken more heavily than dancing this year so keep that in mind."
"It don't think so. You were really good, I'm just worried we don't have enough cast members for the performance."
Lloyd decided not to argue any more. Lilian was stubborn. “How many people do we need?”
"I don't know. A lot I think," Lillian sighed and rubbed at her face.
Cassie looked up from the board of the stage she'd been nudging with her boot, looking between them. "Well, ya got me for anythin' ya need, accordin' t' my…deal."
“Deal? How do you mean?” What kind of deal does someone make in a highschool? And with whom?
"Also how are you with acting?" Lillian asked quickly. If this girl was stuck here then she would be great to have as a part of the cast.
"Keeps me from getting expelled." Cassie deadpanned, her gaze stopping on the boy. "And I'm alright."
"Then you'll definitely be needed," Lillian grinned, "We're low on actors this year since most of the regulars graduated last year."
Cassie shrugged, waving to her pink hair. "You'll need wigs, unless any of your characters got pink hair."
"We got wigs," Lillian assured her, "Or we could re dye your hair. There's always options."
Expelled? What does that mean? Don’t ask, actually. Everyone seems to know what it is. Lloyd watched the interaction between Lillian and Cassie silently.
Laura looked up to watch as well. Her pencil was poised to write.
"The re-dyin' depends on what color." Cassie said, but otherwise looked fairly open to the idea. "An' here I thought I'd jus' be doin' all the heavy liftin'."
"You'll probably do that to," Lillian remarked, "And the re dye would probably be to some other natural color. We all help out around here."
Lloyd nodded. “Tech crew is fun, but I supposedly have to actually have a role in this one.”
