@PrettyLittlePyro
(Alright lol)
Nyx hovered on the breeze, eyes closed. She listened to the shadows, the things they told her. She gave a single, sharp laugh when one told her something.
”So,” she mused. ”The goat needs my help?”

Nyx hovered on the breeze, eyes closed. She listened to the shadows, the things they told her. She gave a single, sharp laugh when one told her something.
”So,” she mused. ”The goat needs my help?”
Lance eventually found Nyx and waited patiently to be addressed. He didn't particularly care to be disemboweled in the morning.
Nyx seemed not to notice him. Her eyes were closed, heavy lids dark.
He cleared his throat to try and get her attention. "Lady Night," he tried, bowing his head in respect.
Nyx slowly opened her eyes, which flashed a cold silver. “What?”
"The gods have captured some of our people," Lance said, keeping his eyes downcast. "I proposed a rescue mission to get them back and show our enemies just who they're dealing with. Aurae has agreed to help break people out, and we just need you to provide a distraction and perhaps be our backup should things go sour. Please, my Lady."
Nyx stared down at him. If Lance would have looked up, he would have seen a cruel, cold smile cross her face. ”I will… for a price.”
He clenched his jaw. Here it was. "And what would that price be?"
Nyx laughed. The sound was like knives grating against each other. "Freedom."
He scrunched his brows together slightly. But she was a goddess. Didn't she already have as much freedom as she pleased? "I–I'm sorry, but could you explain?"
Nyx scoffed. "You really are as dumb as you look. I expected more from a Chimera." She floated down to the ground, shadows surrounding her like a cloak.
He clenched his jaw again, narrowing his eyes as he lifted his gaze up to her. "I know how you gods work. You ask for something vague and use that as a loophole to get whatever you really wanted—and it's usually close to impossible to grant. So I shall ask again: Be more specific."
Nyx rolled her eyes. "Once, I was free. Free to do anything I wanted. I was a queen, an empress, a ruler. I had power. And then I was kicked off of my seat of power. And now I'm just a minor goddess."
"You know that's not within my power to grant, Lady Night," Lance said testily. How does Aurae stand her?
"You'll find a way," Nyx said with a dark smile. "Or I might just have to join pathetic little Zeus."
"I could always just ask Hades or Thanatos or even your Keres to help instead of you." He didn't have a clue how to give Nyx her power back.
She shrugged. "Jealousy won't work on me. You were the one who came for my help, not the other way around."
(Lie to her. She's not the goddess of lies.)
(That would be apate and Dolos)
"Fine, I'll give you your freedom if you prove useful," Lance said, lifting his chin.
(Yup. So she can't tell if you lie to her.)
"If I prove useful?" She hissed a laugh. "Very well."
"Alright then." He bowed his head and turned to head back into the house.
Nyx rolled her eyes and vanished into the shadows again.
(should we do a time skip to the prison break?)
(Sure. You start, or me?)
(Could you?)
(Sure! It’ll take me a minute, though. I have about four other rps to respond to lol)
(lmao, I get it)
(There! Done!)
Nyx was ready. She floated above the heads of the party of attackers who were going to break out… well, she had no idea who. She hadn’t been told, and frankly, she didn’t care.
(Whenever I write Nyx’s name, autocorrect wants to change it to Nuclear. Also, there’s an rp with the reincarnation of Greek gods that I think you’d like…)
(Oh? And I honestly think that autocorrect might be onto something with that…)
The Chimera triplets, Aurae, Koralia, and a few others stayed low to the marble floors as they made their way to the dungeon. They signaled to each other and then split off into different groups. Lance went with Aurae, Kora went with Levi and Leon, and then the others split off into twos and threes.
(Maybe… oh no…)
True to her word, Nuclear was ready with the distraction. She floated into the palace, ignoring the pathetic protectors and guards, and into the throne room.
The mad gods stopped talking instantly. “Hello, my brethren,” Nyx said, a cold smile curving her lips.
(Damnit, it wrote Nuclear.)
