He kissed her softly before standing and stretching "forest it is then."

Avalin nodded and stretched out on the bed, yawning before sitting up, “Can we eat something before we leave though?”

Loki glanced at her and nodded "Of course, anything in particular?"

“Anything, as long as it’s edible.” She shimmied to the edge of the bed and stood up with a sigh.

"We can go back to Lilian's cafe, she promised to teach you how to make hot chocolate." he suggested

She nodded, “Lillian’s food was amazing last time, and she’s sweet, I’d like to go there again.”

"I'm sure she'd love to see you again." He headed to the bathroom to change

Avalin smiled, reaching out and petting Spot before trying to decide what she was going to wear.

After 5 minutes or so, Loki came out of the bathroom in a simple white shirt and pants. "Ready yet?" He asked,

“Not yet, I have to choose,” She replied, biting her lip and shrugging as she picked a simple gray shirt and a vibrant yellow skirt to go with it. She slipped into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later changed.

Loki laughed softly and wrapped her in a hug. "You and you're oddly bright color choices." He kissed her temple "now are we ready?"

She smiled and nodded, wrapping him in a hug as well, “I like wearing bright colors, they’re fun.”

He smiled and nodded "that they are."he pulled away and gently took Qurenie and Spot. " Alright I think now we're ready."

“I can take Spot,” She said, offering to hold him, “Is there a leash or something I can use to make sure he doesn’t run off?”

He handed Spot off to Avalin and looked around of a leash "I picked one up while we were at the shelter….ah here it is," he pulled out a simple blue leashes and handed it to her

Avalin took the leash and the puppy and clipped the leash to his collar before setting the pup down and watching his tail wag furiously.

Loki waved his hand, teleporting them all to the street infront of Lilian's cafe. "alright, I'm starving."

“What are you going to get this time?” She asked out of curiosity, smiling at her husband and walking to the door. She opened it up for him and motioned for him to go inside, hoping it was alright that Spot and Queenie came inside as well.

He nodded his thanks "I've been wanting to try their crepes for a while. they make them with almonds and walnut chunks." he said, smiling as Lilian came over to greet them "Fancy seeing you two back, and who might these adorable things be?" she asked, pointing to queenie and spot

Avalin smiled, “This is Spot,” She said, pointing to the puppy. “And this is Queenie,” She motioned to the kitten and looked up to Lillian with another smile.

"they're adorable. never would have thought the first kids you two would have had would be pets." she shrugged and nudged Spot's head "cute little thing. Back table is yours as always, I'll come by in a sec to get your order."

With that, She grabbed his hand lightly, holding Spot’s leash in her other hand as she went towards the table they sat at last time.

He smiled softly and sat in the booth. "We'll see if we can get you guys anything to eat." he said to the pets

She sat down as well, patting the seat next to her in the booth before scooping up Spot and putting him next to her. She didn’t know if he was allowed there, but she didn’t want him getting stepped on while they ate.

Loki smiled softly at his wife and the animals enjoying the simple scen he saw in front of him while thinking that this would have never been possible if they hadn't met a couple years ago.

Avalin looked around the cafe, oblivious to him until Spot clambered into her lap and she looked down at the pup with a smile. “Sorry buddy, maybe in a little bit,” She said, moving him next to her before looking up at her husband.

He laughed gently and took her hand in his "He wants your attention too. Looks like theres going to be a bit of competion." he teased

She laughed lightly as well and looked between the puppy and him, “I’ll let you two figure that out, though I’m sure I’ll have enough time to give you both attention.”

Loki pressed his lips to her hand "we'll see about that." He winked and glanced up as Lilian came by "I'll take the same as last time." Loki said when she asked what they would like to drink
"Alright, and you hon?"

“Hot chocolate please,” She said with a smile, ignoring Spot as he scrambled onto her lap again.
