(Okay, see you then!)
Hinata nodded, putting her hands in her pocket and following Sebastian.
(Okay, see you then!)
Hinata nodded, putting her hands in her pocket and following Sebastian.
(That was faster than I thought)
As the Arena was not that faraway from where they were, it was only a ten minute walk with nothing worth mentioning. Arriving at the Arena, Sebastian turned to andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and Cassius.
“Only one of us can go up with her, who’s it gonna be?” he wanted them to agree on who’s going. They both shrugged and turned to Hinata.
(Choose : Sebastian, Cassius or andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer))
Loki abruptly stood and had to sit back down due to her vision swimming putting a hand up to her temple she looked at the doctor who had fallen silent. "I need to find my brother. Can you help me?"
Hinata thought for a second.
"You wanna come Cassius?" She asked.
The plague doctor raised a brow.
“Your brother’s in the Labyrinth?” He asked, sipping from his cup again.
“If so it’s gonna be hard to find considering what’s going on down here right now”
Cassius shrugged.
“Sure I guess. You two wait here” he stated, walking over to the elevator and spoke out loud the word “Tenth Floor”.
Hinata and Cassius would find themselves in the Arena of the Tenth Floor which was completely silent… except for the fact that there is a golden water ram standing in the middle of the Arena.
"There are some things I've never expected to have to deal with. This is one of them." She sighed, drawing her sword.
"That's what I get for expecting crap."
As Hinata unsheathed her sword, the water ram started running up the walls of the Arena. It ran sideways on the wall for several seconds before jumping off, heading straight for Hinata in its armor form.
The Aries armor wielded a curved sword and had curved antlers alongside its shoulder pads, making hitting it extremely hard with being hit by it first.
Hinata didn't hesitate, immediately drawing her second sword and moving to sidestep.
Cassius grabbed the armor by its antlers and attempted break it, only to be thrown across the room.
“Crystal Rush” the armor spoke in a mechanical voice before getting into a running stance. As it moved, crystal shards formed behind it and fired at both Cassius and Hinata. The armor was now running up the walls again, creating shards of crystalline with every step.
Hinata scowled at the shards, hastily focusing on one sword. The next moment, it was a small circular shield, which she used to deflect the shards. She tracked the armor with her eyes, trying to predict where it was running next so she could intercept and attack.
What Hinata might not have been expecting was the fact that the armor jumped from the wall and attempted to bash her down with the blade it was holding. Something else she might not have expected…
“Dragonfly’s Parade” sounded a young man from the darks of the hallway leading out from the Arena. When the words were uttered, hundreds, no, thousands of dragonflies surrounded the Aries armor, making it impossible for it to move.
Hinata blinked several times, surprised by the dragonflies. She glanced at the man who had spoken, but she quickly turned her attention back to the armor infront of her.
The Aries armor sliced down once with his sword, created a layer of crystals to form around themself.
A dragonfly landed on the layer of crystals. The Aries armor cursed on their own before grabbing the dragonfly…
BOOM!!!
The Aries armor cracked from the explosion while being sent towards Hinata, unable to move or counter.
Hinata took advantage of this, slashing with her sword through one of the cracks.
The Aries armor screamed in pain before dispersing back into its inscription form. After the inscription calmed down, the sound of footsteps can be heard. Whoever it was that was making the sound was running away from Hinata.
Hinata bent down and picked the inscription up, turning to look at Cassius to make sure he was okay. She was extremely curious as to who the person running away was, but that could come later.
(Oh no… that username does not bring good news whatsoever XD)
Cassius nodded, stating that he was fine. He turned to the lift and spoke out loud the words “First Floor”.
Saying so, however, brought him and Hinata to the Third Floor where a pool of blood can be seen surrounding a familiar Knight. The amber Maine Coon Hinata was familiar with walked slowly, limping to lay down beside its owner.
(One more day… Then death)
Hinata gasped.
"Matthew!" She said, rushing over to his side.
(Funny how you mentioned death)
The young man grunted as he opened his eyes.
“H-Hinata?” He managed to ask, letting his wrist relax.
“Heh…glad to see you’re safe…” he smiled softly.
“I’m gonna rest for a while… quite a long while as well…” he sighed and grunted in immense pain as his body started to disintegrate.
“…take care of Kohaku while I’m gone… alright?” He laughed softly, a gentle smile touched his face before his body became an artifact, covered in small vines which reads…
Nature’s Messenger
;^;
Hinata sat back slightly, stunned. With a slightly shaky hand, she reached out and gently picked Kohaku up and looked at Cassius through teary eyes.
(I know, it’s sad to me as well)
Cassius only had the mental stability to sigh. He wasn’t expecting that at all. First it was of Carlsen, then this in the matter of two days; it was tiring for him.
A figure had been walking towards the Arena. Through the shadows, only the sounds were collected… water droplets, no, blood drops were coming from the figure.
As they walked into view, they fainted. Intharachit in the Libra uniform was freezing cold, having an extremely hard time to breathe because of the icicles that pierced through his lung pipe.
Shocked, Hinata quickly wiped her eyes and stood, still holding Kohaku. She hurried over to Intharachit, kneeling beside him. She placed her hand on him and shivered.
"I-I can't fix this…" She muttered, distraught.
Cassius followed soon after only to realize something. He got out his notebook and skimmed through.
“Hinata… we are to a disadvantage” he sighed, attempting to heal Intharachit.
“The maniacal Cronos has now achieved the Aquarius Uniform’s true form. Like Sebastian’s case, he’s going to be extremely hard to deal with” Cassius kept the notebook in his coat’s pocket with his left while removing the icicle on Intharachit with his right.
Hinata nodded.
"Things just keep getting better and better, don't they?" She muttered under her breath, clearly exhausted emotionally.
“It’s just what greed does to a person I guess…” Cassius knew he couldn’t say much as he is both younger than Hinata and less experienced. He got out the Pisces Uniform and started searching around for the other Zodiac Uniforms.
“Crap…” he muttered.
“All of them are active right now except for Pisces and Leo which are both here”
"Wait… Didn't I pick the Aries Inscription up?" Hinata asked, slightly puzzled.
“Wait, you did didn’t you?” Cassius asked before he turned around and having a curved edge sword nearly hit his neck.
The Aries armor jumped to where the blade was and got into his fighting stance… again.
“Can we… can we not?” Cassius asked, all that happened today was enough for him already.
Hinata stood, setting Kohaku down and drawing her swords again.
"I'll deal with this. You should stay with Itharachit." Turning her second sword to a shield again, she sighed. Then, she fell into her fighting stance and started to circle close to the armor.
“Hey Cassius” the Aries warrior called out to the healer. Cassius turned to him in full confusion before the warrior took off the helm.
“Sup” there was a person inside the armor. They greeted the doctor with a teasing smile as Cassius sighed.
“Jeez, stop scaring me like that Zen” the doctor complained as he continued healing Intharachit.
The Aries warrior grabbed Hinata before she faint from the headache building from circling him.
“Hello, Zen Clyde of the First Generation”
Loki looked at the doctor in confusion "What do you mean? What's going on?"
