"Oo! That will go great with it!" Alex smiled happily.

Firiko smiled, bringing the rabbit over and started skinning/gutting it.

While Firiko did this, Alex stirred the root melody. He had his left hand in his pocket.

Firiko finished it in a matter of minutes, and started slicing te meat into strips.

Alex watched with delight as Firiko worked. It was like at the diner.

Firiko soon placed most of the strips into the flames, to make sure they cooked before putting them into the medly.

Alex smiled.
"You're a really good cook."

Firiko shrugged, "I'm really not.."

"Most people would have just put the meat in the melody; you're taking the time to actually cook it." Alex sat down. His left hand was still in his pocket.

"I refer my meat thouroughly cooked, or burnt, not raw…" said Firiko as a way of explanation.

"Still…" Alex smiled.
"More than most."

"I guess.."

"Oh, just take the compliment!" Alex laughed light-heartedly.

Firiko blushed, turning the strips over.

Alex hung the ladle he had been using from the pot's handle. He smiled at Firiko.

Firiko smiled back softly, making sure the strips were cooking.

Alex, knowing Firiko had this handled, went into the tent for a moment.

Firiko continued, not paying attention to Alex.

Alex crawled back out of the tent. He was holding a book.

Firiko watched him carefully, starting to slip the meat into the pot.

Alex pulled a pen out of his pocket and started writing with his left hand. The was some died blood under his nails.

Firiko didn't notice the blood. Concentrating more on making food.

Ashley sniffed.
"That smells great!" He commented.

Firiko smiled qt him, before returning his attention to the food.

Alex returned to his book. He seemed to be sketching something now.

Firiko stirred the medely, letting it sit for about half an hour before pulling it away from the flames.

Alex looked up as Firiko pulled the melody off.
"Think it's ready?"

"Yeah.." he said, smiling.

"Awesome." Alex set his book down. It flipped back open, revealing a sketch of Firiko cooking. Alex didn't realize Firiko could see it. A note on the bottom corner said He's so HOT. "Hot" was underlined several times.

Firiko did notice it, blushing bright red when he saw it, his wings puffing up.
