"Do you think it will work?" She asked, starting to like the plan.

He shrugged "I honestly don't know, they might try to kill me and get you to safety, they might let you die. I don't know what'll happen."

"Then we shouldn't plan anything. I don't want you getting hurt Lios." she mumbled kissing his cheek.

He nuzzled against her "I'll just end up back here again." He muttered, "nothing would change."

She gave him a sad look, "Lios….do you know how much it's changed up there? Do you know how many guards are up there?"

He nodded "I know." He said quietly "but I won't live a lifetime without fighting for you. I'd rather die than not have you with me."

"I would soon follow you, you know that right? You die, i die." She murmured.

He shook his head, his heart pricing with pain at her words "don't say that my dear, don't even think that." He caressed her cheek and pulled her close to him.

She stayed quiet and tried to stay close to lios. But it felt like however close she was to him, he would miles away. Always out of reach.

He tilted her chin up so she was forced to tlook at him "Promise me you won't."

"Only if you promise not to die." She said, knowing that he couldn't keep that promise.

He glanced away "I promise." he said after a moment of thought

She nodded, resting her head on his shoulder.

He swallowed hard, not knowing if he could keep the promise for long "i love you Caria." He muttered

She shivered at that, "Lios…This isn't goodbye…It can't be."

he shut his eyes and breathed in a shaky breath "it's not. I swear to you its not."

"Don't say anything like that…Okay? I can't handle to loose you again." She said, tears forming already.

He glanced down at her, his brow creasing in sadness "you will never lose me, ever." He kissed her cheek, tasting the salt of her tears on his lips

Caria buried her head in his neck, sobbing.

He stroked her hair, feeling helpless to stop her tears "I'm here, blossom. I wont leave you." He whispered, "no matter where I am, here or Olympus, I will always be with you."

She stopped crying, "You keep making things worse. Your words are full of sadness."

He choked a laugh "Not fully, there's love and compassion behind them, I assure you." He breathed in a heavy breath and forced a smile

"You know I can tell when you force a smile." She said, kissing him softly.

He glanced down at her, an actual smile crossing his face "you can read me that well, huh?"

"I may have peeked inside your head too." she said, kissing his cheek.

He sighed in mock annoyance "You know I hate it when you do that? Don't go digging around in my mind."

"It was very slightly Lios. I only saw your forced smile."

"Hm, good." He nuzzled into her hair and sighed "what am I going to do with you, my flower?"
