He nodded "true, but you didn't needed to know that side" he said, kissing her temple

“I think it’s good that I did though, I think I know you better because of it,” She replied, shifting around so her head rested on his shoulder, “I know what you’re capable of.”

He huffed a laugh "I'm capable of killing and mass destruction. though I think you knew that already." he said, laying back and pulling her on top of him "i just wish I were a better man than the one you came to know."

She shook her head at his last statement, “Love, you are a better man than most, don’t you see how far you’ve come along? You chose to think of what you were doing and changed it, and I wouldn’t want to know you any other way than as you are.” She pressed a kiss to his jaw softly as she continued, “Now, what I'm curious about is why you picked an unimpressive and unimportant servant like me to be with you.”

He sighed "you know how I feel when you self deprecated love." He ran his hands In her hair and glanced down "unimpressive? Love you shot me with arrows, something not many would dare to do. Unimportant? I have never met anyone so loved by those around them than you."

“I didn't shoot you with arrows,” She protested, wrinkling her nose at him playfully, “I shot at you with arrows, after you told me they were blunt.” Avalin sighed and shrugged, “And I just don’t know about the whole loved by those around me thing.”

He kissed her brow "my point still stands. You are nothing except beautiful on both the inside and the outside."

She just sighed again in response and smushed herself closer to him, smiling when she saw Spot bouncing back across the bed to them.

Loki glanced over at the puppy and laughed "come to join?" He asked, gently drawing the dog close

Spot happily came closer, his little tail wagging excitedly as he started to sniff at Loki and Avalin.
“Hi buddy,” She said happily, petting the puppy for a moment as he sniffed at her hand.

Loki smiled softly and kissed her head, closing his eyes in content as the dog climbed over them

Once he had explored and climbed over them several times, Spot finally settled down next to the two of them, obviously tired from the wild exploring and trip from the adoption center. Avalin smiled and looked up at Loki, kissing his cheek and closing her eyes as well.

Loki smiled and opened his eyes "anything you want to do? Or are we just going to stay here." He asked softly, gently nudging Spot's head

“I don’t know, what there is to do?” She asked, her eyes flicking open for a moment before she closed them again.

"we can travel more if you'd like, there are a few places that I can think of. We can rest for the rest of the day and go somewhere tomorrow." He suggested, stroking her hair

“Sounds like a plan.” She hummed in content as he stroked her hair and she shifted around, reaching blindly for a pillow from the top of the bed.

He glanced up, Confused as to what she was reaching for and laughed "a little to the left love,"

She followed his direction and grabbed a pillow. “Thanks,” She said, putting it under her head and moving around until she was comfortable again.

He smiled and nuzzled her hair "comfortable?" He asked, watching her shift around

Avalin nodded and sighed in content, “Now I am.” Her arm wrapped around him and she opened her eyes slightly so she wouldn’t fall asleep.

Loki chuckled lightly "good." He kissed her head and kept his lips on her brow

She smiled and pet a Spot for a minute before her eyes fluttered closed, much to her chagrin. She curled close to him and soon she was asleep, her breathing slow and even.

Loki glanced down at his queen and smiled "sleep my dear." He kissed her lips before he too fell asleep beside her

She smiled contently in her sleep, Spot asleep next to her along with Loki.

Loki awake a few hours later, glancing around and the pets around him and his wife who slept soundly "tired hm?" He laughed softly and stroked her cheek.

She let out a small breath and tucked her head closer to her body, still asleep and not noticing that he was awake.

he laughed softly and kissed her cheek "Love, wake up"

“Why,” She groaned, flipping over onto her other side and covering her face with her hand, “I don’t wanna.”
