"Mhm, so have either of you thought of a genius plan yet. Because clearly the brains of the whole bunch is gone now, maybe even, forever." He said with fake emotion in his voice. Though it was the way he was wired, he couldn't help that he seemed insensitive.
Nikka pressed her hands against her eyes, trying not to claw them out. "Please don't, not right now."
“Hey, I’m not stupid, thank you very much.” Ollie waved his hand. Harper just sighed. “Can we not fight right now?”
"I'm really trying; Devile is just… difficult to handle… at times," Nikka said, trying to sound as nice as possible.
"You don't have to pretend to be nice." Narcissus said.
"Pretending is even more insulting thank you very much."
"Everyone just calm down!" Harper stood between Devile, Nikka, and Narcissus. "We don't need to fight!"
"Maybe they just need to get it out of their system? This place is so messed up anyways that I can't imagine they could screw it up any more." Ollie said pointedly.
Paranoia watched this, then decided to step in, most of the darl sides listened to them anyhow. "Devile, be quiet. Do you wish to help us or are you going to go screw up your job more." Paranoia hissed, voice layering a bit at the last part.
Devile looked over at them, "Hello Paranoia, and yeah I'll be quiet and help you all out." He replied.
Depression stayed silent.
“Wonderful. Now that’s out of the way, can we please get moving?” Ollie gave a forced smile, clapping his hands together. “If we don’t, Thomas will probably die or become brain dead and none of us want that, do we?”
Nikka pulled up her hood, retreating into herself. At least I tried, she thought.
"Calm done Sir Serious." Devile said as he put an arm around Nikka. "Let's keep looking."
Depression fought the urge to punch him.
"Don't. Touch. Her." Narcissus pushed Devile off his sister, ungently, and moved them away from the violent side.
"Don't do that," Nikka said, gently pulling away.
"So Violent, I love it." He said with a smirk.
"Fuck off." said Narcissus placidly.
"I'd rather not with you. You're cute and all but, no." Dev said then fell back behind the group and walked.
"We're related! That's incest, creep!" Narcissus retorted.
"Why are you like this, Dev?" Nikka asked, only half joking.
"I'm like this because I am violence, and Quiet sarcastic. Narc, don't take me seriously." Dev glared at them both from behind.
“Hey!” Ollie yelled to get everyone’s attention. “Everyone shut the fuck up! I have no patience and no filter right now, and I will not hesitate to whoop your asses if you don’t shut it and get some work done! Get fucking serious!” “Er, great job being a leader, Ollie?” “You can shut your mouth too, Harper.” “Sorry…”
"Maybe I should search somewhere else," Nikka said quietly. Since I can't seem to stop offending everybody.
"No, we need a voice of reason on our side." Narcissus said, obviously insulting everyone in the room but Nikka .
"Literally anyone here could stand as a voice of reason, Narc. All I do is annoy people," she said, almost defensively.
"Ahem," Narcissus mimicked adjusting a pair of glasses, "falsehood."
Nikka rolled her eyes. "Oh? Name one thing I've done today that was actually helpful." She paused. "You can't do it, can you?"
"I swear to God if you don't stop fighting someone's going home looking different than they did before!" Ollie was pretty much fuming at this point. "We have been here for half an hour just arguing instead of helping Thomas! So everyone shut the fuck up and get moving!"
"You know what, Ollie? We're trying. We've been trying, and we're still trying our best to find them. Do you think any of us want our parents to be lost? So punch me, I dare you. You obviously need it." Nikka said frustratedly. She was on the verge of tears and Ollie was making her royally pissed.
Paranoia frowned, walking past the arguing and opening up a gold door with pale green glass, they shut it and and locked it with a snap. If everyone kept arguing then everything would fail and then their dad die and Thomas would die and- they needed to stop panicking, they just needed to find out where their dad was.
“I’m not gonna punch you, Nikka. You don’t have a very punchable face.” Ollie sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. I need to calm down. This is a huge mess, but I’ll just have to fix it later.
