"We could figure something out….I-I could fake my death and become someone new…" She said quietly. Caria was scared of what his brother would do. and anyone around her could sense it.

He shook his head "no one would believe it, not even my brother. Plus he'd see the scheme sooner or later" He replied

She looked at him, "Promise me you wont leave me?"

He stopped in his tracks and turned to face her "I will never leave you, I never did. But right now it's hard for us to stay together." He said brushing his hand along her cheek

Caria had tears forming in her eyes, "I hope one day we will be able to…."

He brushed her cheek gently "it will, we'll make it happen." He started to walk again

"Okay." she says quietly, following him.

He looked away, knowing he shouldn't promise anything. " Hopfully," he muttered, leading the way to the castle doors

"W—When do I go?" She asked him, scared that once she left he would move on and forget her.

He didn't answer her questions until they got inside. He dropped her hand to grab some calendars and to conjuring the onyx table.

She watched, sad to leave him. "I love you…"

He glanced over with shoulder amdstood in front of her "hey, it'll be alright." He kissed her head

"I hope your right. Do you think he saw us that night?" She asked, her voice small and full of worry.

He conjured a couch and sat her down, "and so what if he did? It's not like he can do anything about it. He can't effect us down here." He kissed her cheek, drawing her into his chest

She curled up in his chest, "It will when I leave.."

"it won't once we offer the gods something." He muttered, leaning back on the couch and cradling her closer

caria closed her eyes, "Lios?"

He glanced down at her "yes my love?"

She flinched at the name, "I want to stay….I don't want to lose you ever again…"

He sighed "I don't want to lose you either but it must be done this way until we find a way for us to remain together."

She nodded carefully, "S-so when do I go…"

"Couple of months. What I figured is that you can stay during the winter months and then go back during the spring." He explained

She smiled when she heard spring, but it faltered, "I'll be leaving you during my favorite season…"

He nodded "so you can nurture it." he reasoned. "You can take care of spring and summer and then durign the winter, and fall, you can come stay with me."

"They won't allow me to come back…will they?" she asked knowing that these last couple of month could be her very last with him.

"Not if I threaten them." He replied. "How good are you at acting?"

"I can pull it off if it's really needed." She said looking him in the eye. "How would you threaten them?"

"I kill you in front of them out of surpressed rage or something." He flinched at the thought of him hurting her "of course it's be staged"

She fidgeted with her fingers, not sure how to answer. "They'll find out…especially if they send someone to check on you…"
