"Who did you tell?" he asked, not sounding as mad as he usually would.
"Who did you tell?" he asked, not sounding as mad as he usually would.
"Nobody! I-well, I did tell one person, but they're not affiliated with he media in any way." She added quickly, sounding slightly nervous.
"Again," he said, squinting his eyes. "Who did you tell?"
"A friend of mine." She said quietly, looking down at her lap. "We go out for coffee once a week to catch up, and I…was talking about you."
He raised his eyes at what she said. "All good things?"
"Obviously." She huffed, brows drawing into a small frown. "I'm sorry, though."
"As long as it's not in the paper," he said, giving her a small shake, "I'm fine."
"It's not in the paper." She promised, snuggling into his side as she looked up at him. "You're good, don't worry."
(Should we introduce her mother?)
((I mean yeah, might be fun. She has no clue who her mother is though, no one really does))
((I figured it would be, like, Iron Man's wife, Pepper Potts))
((Sksksk I'm just now getting into the MCU and barely know anything. Should we just go with that?))
(Might as well. DO you want me to be her, or can you? She's like a responsible version of Tony Parker)
"Ms. Stark," Alan said calmly, the room flashing orange with every word. "Your mother is coming up."
((I could probably if you wanted me to?))
"Fuck." Peggy winced, tugging a hand through her hair. "She's gonna kill me. I just hope it's quick and relatively painless."
"It can't be that bad," he said, pulling away from Peggy so they wouldn't be cuddling the first time he met her mom.
(I'd appreciate it ;-;)
((Quick q. I can't remember if Pepper took Tony's last name or kept her own?))
(She kept her's)
"No, you don't get it." She shook her head, face scrunching up. "She's already pissed I took after dad, hero-wise. But dive bombing the ground like that? Certain death-"
Th elevator dinged to announce the arrival of it's passenger, and Pepper Potts strode out before the door had even opened all the way. And she didn't look too happy. "Margaret Virginia Stark, what were you thinking?"
Klaus scooted away from Peggy just before she walked through, and decided the best course of action was to study the gunshot wound. This is incredibly awkward.
Peggy winced at the use of her full name, shooting Pepper an apologetic and strained smile. "Would it be better or worse if I told you I wasn't?"
"Worse." Pepper said shortly, coming to a stop in front of the love seat and crossing her arms as she looked down at her daughter. Her eyes flickered to Klaus, examining him. "Are you the boy I keep hearing about?"
"Depends," he admitted, rubbing his nose with his good hand. "I'm Klaus."
Pepper looked between the two, softening a bit. "It's nice to finally get the chance to meet you, Klaus. Please, call me Pepper."
"Um…..okay," he said, then turned to Peggy. "Do you want me to leave so you and your mom can talk?"
"I don't want you to go." She said, biting her lip once she realized just what she'd said. "Er-I mean, I'd rather you didn't, but you can, if you want to."
He looked over at Pepper for a moment, then shrugged and settled back down in his seat. "Then I'll stay. Why'll we're here, we should probably talk about the suit."
(("That's all the numbers I know!" SAME. Also I'm living for the irony of a fingerprint being a burglar))
"A suit?" Pepper raised an eyebrow at Peggy, who rubbed the back of her neck with her good hand.
"Yeah." She nodded, eyes flickering to Klaus. "To keep him from getting shot again. What exactly did you want to talk about, with the suit?"
"If it's realistic or not," he said with a shrug. "We should at least run it by one of your parents."
"Well, it should be, but what do you think, mom?" She looked up at Pepper, raising an eyebrow.
"That depends on what you are trying to do, exactly." Pepper said, pulling a chair over and sitting down. "The suit is for you, Klaus?"
"Yes, ma'am," he said, feeling a bit more comfortable by the moment. He even risked scooting a bit closer to Peggy. "Peggy put the art over there," he said, point over to the desk they were at.
