She sighed and chuckled lightly, “Only we could forget food for the pets we just got.”

He shrugged "that's not a problem that will worry us soon." He snapped his fingers, making appear some pet food and treats.

She hugged him tight again before taking a step away, turning to face the wriggly and very curious little puppy that was making its way around the room and smelling everything.

"curious thing." He muttered with a laugh, patting the puppy's head gently "have thought of a name for them yet?"

“Not yet, though I’m thinking of a name from earth, maybe Spot?” She said, crouching down and scooping up the pup in her arms.

Sat on the edge of the bed, picking Queenie up and laying back "what about you, little thing? Having fun exploring?"

Avalin laughed and pet Spot as she sat next to Loki, the puppy licking her face before hopping off her lap and onto the bed to explore.

"Nosy little thing. But adorable." He said, glancing up at her, "you're going to have fun with that puppy,"

She nodded and smiled, flipping onto her stomach and scooting onto the bed more, “He’s definitely a little nosy, and yes, this puppy is going to be a lot of fun.” She watched Spot for a moment before looking over at Queenie and him, “What about you? What do you think about Queenie?”

"she's going to kill me, I can see It in her eyes." He held up the car for Avalin to see "see? The face of a killer." He teased

Avalin laughed and reached out to the cat, petting her. “Please don’t kill him, he’s special to me,” She told the cat with a smile, “There, no more killer cat.”

Queenie nudged into her hand and mewed softly. Loki smiled softly at Avalin then at the kitten "Ah, so the little cat has a voice."

Her smile grew and she pet the cat one more time before focusing on making sure Spot wasn’t going to fall off the bed, “Maybe she just likes talking to me.”

"Aw, are you both trying to make me jelous, hm?" he asked with a grin "thats just terrible," he set the cat next to him "go explore little thing." he said. Queenie just curled up and slept

She laughed and shrugged, “Great minds think alike,” She joked, “And the other great mind besides mine is Queenie’s, if you were wondering.”

He shook his head and sat up "I realized that, love." he tugged her close and kissed her head "my beautiful one." he muttered lovingly close to her ear.

She hummed happily and wrapped an arm around him, “I’m not so sure that the beautiful part is correct,” She murmured contently, “Maybe pretty, but not beautiful.”

He glanced down at her "no, that doesn't suit you. More on the lines of stunning, gorgeous. Unnaturally vibrant. But not beautiful, that word has been thrown around too much to hold any true value anymore." he said, tilting her head up and capturing her lips in his

Again she hummed in response, not objecting to the kiss at all, she pulled away for a moment to answer before pressing her lips back to his, “I actually like unnaturally vibrant, that can be what I am instead of beautiful.”

He laughed softly "then it's settled, you are now my unnaturally vibrant Queen. No matter what others say, you are mine." He held her close, kissing her softly

“Yes, I have met you,” She replied softly, resting against him, “I used to work in the palace, I've seen you at your worst, dragged to the prisons, but I’ve also seen you happy. The few times I've gotten a glance at the queen and you together were where you seemed the happiest. I know you’ve done terrible things but there’s a whole side of you that isn’t the killing and torturing piece.”

His eyes softened as he rested his head on hers "I truely don't deserve you my love." He muttered "you saw when I got dragged to the prison?" He asked, until now thinking no one had seen that even other than the guards and his brother

“I caught a glimpse of you as you passed through the halls,” She said quietly, her cheeks flushing as if she was embarrassed, “I was supposed to be cleaning in a different hall but I couldn’t help but see what was up when I heard that many guards walking through the halls.”

He nodded "I'm sorry that you had to see that." he said, carressing her cheek "I wasn't my best at that time."

She smiled and shrugged, “It’s alright, if I hadn’t seen you at that moment I would have never known how much you’ve changed now.”
