The Greek god smirked. "You weren't so hard to catch. You really are more like me."
Hunter scowled. "You little-" she struggled against the ropes.
Her cousin laughed, watching her.

Kye crept up to the place where the voices were coming from. He could see Hunter, and some other guy. There were more people hidden in the shadows. He could feel them, and hear their breathing.
Hunter lay limp on the floor, feeling her energy drain from her. Her blood still dropped from her back, and she was starting to wish that she had let Kye tend to her.
Kye moved closer, and tried to figure out just how many other people were here. He could see Hunter on the ground. She looked in poor condition. But he was starting to formulate a plan. All he needed was to know how many people there were and where they were.
The cave was small, and the only things in it were Hunter and the god.
The sound of wind suddenly began filling the cave around them, but there was no wind. Something that sounded like a drum also sounded.
Hunter heard the noise as though from far off. She was in a haze of pain and blood loss.
"WHO DARES ENTER MY DOMAIN?" The voice boomed off the walls echoing around the room. It was impossible to tell where it came from.
Koalemos jumped. He spun in a circle, scowling fiercely. “Who’s there?”
"DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?" The voice boomed again.
“A coward who stays in the shadows,” he said, scoffing, though trembling as well.
"I AM NOT IN THE SHADOWS! I AM NOWHERE AND EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE," the voice sounded outraged.
Koalemos was really shaking now. “Who-who are you?”
"YOU DON'T GET TO ASK THAT!" the voice boomed. A huge shadow of some sort of monster appeared on the wall. "GET OUT OF MY CAVES."
Koalemos gave a nervous laugh. “Don’t you know who I am?”
"A QUIVERING CHILD IN MY PRESENCE," the voice sounded very unimpressed.
His chest puffed up. “I am a god, you mean person!”
"A QUIVERING CHILD IN MY PRESENCE." the voice repeated. "YOU WOULDN'T EVEN BE ALIVE IF NOT FOR ME. NOW GET OUT OF MY CAVE, PITIFUL WHELP."
Koalemos seemed at loss for a pathetic comeback. “Well, uh… no?”
The cave suddenly shook and the wind sound howled louder. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" the voice was actually low and dangerous sounding.
Koalemos trembled. “No…?” All his bravado seemed gone.
The shadow suddenly disappeared, and the cave went silent.
Koalemos seemed satisfied. “Chased him off, I did,” he said, brushing himself off.
The torch they had suddenly went out, leaving them in completely darkness.
Koalemos screamed. Ducking behind the unconscious Hunter, he held her limp body up as though it was a shield.
In a flash Hunter was out of Koalemos' hands. A new torch was lit, revealing Kye. The torch was stuck to the wall, and Kye held Hunter in his arms. He looked at the god and shook his head. "Absolutely pathetic," he said. "I can't believe you didn't see through that."
“I, uh, am- you should fear me!”
"After watching you trembling in fear over a voice? Keep on dreaming," Kye replied. "I am going to go now. Good-bye."
“No!” In a sudden burst of strength and resolve, Koalemos jumped towards Hunter. “Give her to me! You don’t know what she is! What kind of power she has! It could destroy you!”
Kye stepped back, a light purple barrier surrounded him and Hunter not letting Koalemos through. "I do not know what power she has, no," his voice remained calm. "But I do know that you are not the one to leave her with."
