Agis's fingers tapped on his desk quietly, he had seen the teacher's species many times before. He had seen almost every species of any student here, they were all quite boring.
(what do agis's hands look like, this is for rp purposes)
(They're elegant, of course, and his nails are painted silver with jewls on them!)
A handful of children raised their hands with varying degrees of confidence. The teacher got back to her feet and, prowling the rows of desks, noted there weren't enough to pair them all up with a telepath.
"Alright," she called out in a deep, raucous voice which heavily contrasted her delicate frame. "All telepaths and empaths find a partner other then who you are next to."
She stopped next to Eric and placed a taloned hand on his shoulder. "You are paired with the Fae boy," she told him. She'd noticed the Fae, of course, rare as they were.
Eric kept his eyes on the boy, who hadn't raised his hand and was now tapping his silvery nails on the desk. His hand could only be described as slender, with long fingers and pale skin that looked almost translucent in the sunlight. His wristbone jutted out, but only in a way that accentuated the elegance of his overall bone structure.
Eric wet his lips and looked away, as the teacher spoke to him. His eyes widened.
Oh shit.
(twink culture is obsessing over boys' hands, trust me)
Agis wrinkled his nose a bit, the human smelled of poison and venom, not a bad smell, but it was probably only smelt by him and the other species with a better sense of smell. The strange twink is looking at my hands, is this normal human behavior?
The teacher proceeded to the snake girl. "You may pair up with Kaz," she commanded, before her gaze flitted to Res. "And you with the tattooed girl (Adrielle)."
(I'm just pairing up the ships, and Res and Adrielle)
Eric hesitantly got up and sat next to the boy somewhat clumsily. He cleared his throat somewhat awkwardly, hands fidgeting in his lap. "Hi, uh, I'm Eric."
"Agis." He answered, fingers still tapping out a silent beat, one just like a song in a faerie circle. He was still observing the boy in front of him, bluntly so.
Eric looked at how the jewels on Agis's nails threw off bits of light, then looked at his face. The boy was surveying him, and Eric bristled under Agis's intent gaze. "What?"
"You smell strange." He stated, tilting his head a bit. "Like…" He paused for a moment to find the right words. "Like venom, it smells like a nice type of venom, however. But then again, I find the smell of algae comforting."
Eric felt his ears burning and he looked away. "My abilities involve venom. What are yours? You don't seem human."
(gtg for a couple hours)
Eric felt his ears burning and he looked away. "My abilities involve venom. What are yours? You don't seem human."
"Of course I don't seem human." Agis scoffed, looking offended. "I'm a Fae of the Unseelie court."

Eric's eyebrows rose. He didn't know much about faes except for what mythology there was about them, and all lore about them varied wildly. He didn't even know faes were real. "That's cool. I mean, I don't know anything about faes but, uh, that's pretty cool." Wait, can he read minds? Can he tell I think he's gorgeous? Fuck. Fuck, now he definitely knows.
Agis narrowed his eyes at the obviously panicking male. "Are you alright? You look to be overheating." He asked the temperature didn't seem to be very hot, but Eric's face was extremly red and he seemed to be sweating.
"Uh." Eric rubbed his ears, hoping they'd go back to normal. "You're not a mind reader, right?" he blurted out.
"…Not really?" Agis shrugs, he can't read minds, but people's minds to open more when they feel intense emotion. "But you disregarded my question, are you overheating?"
Eric laughed awkwardly and waved his hand dismissively. "Yeah, course, I just like my thoughts to stay in my head, and I thought you were a telepath, so I got a little worried. I'm fine, I swear."
"You do realize I can tell when people lie." Agis stated, making it sound like a question. Perks of being a Fae, he supposed, he couldn't lie, but he could tell when others did.
Eric looked up, his eyebrows raising. "I wasn't lying, that was what I was thinking about." His eyes fixed on how one strand of Agis's hair almost floated in the slight breeze left by an open window.
(Hey y'all I'm so sorry but I don't have enough time for this RP so I'm opting out. Again, so sorry. I'll totally be stalking it though. ^^)

"No, when I asked if you were overheating. I would also prefer if you didn't lie, I hate when pretty people lie." Agis said, stopping his finger tapping.
Eric coughed awkwardly when Agis called him pretty, worrying at his lip. He wrapped his arms around his waist. If I cough up a toad thing on this boy I will actually die. "No, uh, I wasn't overheating. Do you not blush, or…? Is that not a fae thing?"
"Well, our blood isn't red, so we technically blush, just not prominently," Agis explained, giving a sharp-toothed smile when Eric coughed, this mortal was funny.
Eric smiled. He was starting to get a little more comfortable, despite how attractive the boy - man? fae? - was, and how distinctly other his presence felt. "Is it silver or something? That would make sense, with your whole light aesthetic."
"Yes, it does have a silvery hue." Agis nodded as he closed his teeth-filled mouth with a quieet snap.
"That's pretty cool." Eric's eyes flickered towards Agis's sharp canines. That's kinda hot. He tried his best not to think of what those teeth might feel like if they kissed, if Agis's mouth slipped lower, past his jaw, to his pulse point, and-
Eric wet his lips and looked away, tugging at the skin around his fingernails.
