She took his phone and looked at his schedule, nodding, "We have history together…and no other classes I can see." She sighed but shrugged, "At least there's one class together."

@gracehustle

She laughed, "That's not a class, but still." Jynna checked the time on her phone and glanced towards the building that her first class was held in -history.

"Almost time for class?" he guessed as he watched her check the time. He honestly didn't know when all the classes started or ended. He had skipped his first day…

@gracehustle

She nodded and turned directions, this time going towards the history building, "Yeah, I'll just have to come back to the library later."

"I really don't wanna go to school," he muttered dejectedly. It just wasn't his thing—sitting around all day, listening to boring teachers drone on and on and on about things no one cared about. He'd much rather be out and about, street racing, spray painting, 'borrowing' things and seeing how long it took for someone to notice—just being a general public nuisance. It was exhilarating and got his blood pumping. School? Boring as hell with very little things to actually do and keep him entertained.

@gracehustle

"You sound like a five year old," She joked, rolling her eyes, "It's not that bad, and going to school right now will help you get a better job in the future."

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Do not," he huffed. "And even if I were to be looking for a job at the moment, it wouldn't have anything to do with history, math, English, yadda yadda."

@gracehustle

Bumping him with her shoulder lightly, she chuckled, "Yes you do, and all the basic classes are going to help you even if you don't get a job doing anything with any of them."

@ElderGod-kirky group

He grumbled some more before planting a kiss on the top of her head. "I guess I'll go. But only because you're making me. Think about all the misery I'm putting myself through for you," he teased.

@gracehustle

"Oh the misery," She replied, purposely being over dramatic before kissing his cheek, "You'll be fine, I'm not making you come here, you can leave whenever."

@gracehustle

“You have a sister?” She looked over at him, slightly surprised as she opened the door to the building for him, “You’ll have to tell me about her after class.”

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Little sister, yeah. She's eighteen. Maggie is twenty, and my other little brother is eighteen." He smiled slightly when he thought about his sister. "She's a fighter, that one…"

@gracehustle

Jynna laughed lightly and nodded, “I’ll have to meet her some time.” She motioned him inside before following, lacing her fingers with his so she could lead him to the classroom.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"That should be an interesting encounter," he remarked as he trailed after Jynna, squeezing her hand briefly with a small smile turned her way.

@gracehustle

(oof, I thought I responded, sry)
She smiled, shrugging, "Your sister sounds really cool." She squeezed his hand back and motioned to the classroom their class was in before opening the door for him. Little conversations could be heard inside while the other students waited for the teacher to get there.

@ElderGod-kirky group

(It's alright)

"She really is. Can hand me my ass within a moment's notice, but cool nevertheless. Language nerd all the way." He bowed dramatically in thanks with a smirk and headed in the classroom. His eyes scanned for a pair of seats for them to sit in.

@gracehustle

Jynna rolled her eyes and her smile grew. She glanced around for a pair of seats for them to take as well and frowned when she didn't see any near the front of the classroom where she normally sat.

@ElderGod-kirky group

He kissed her cheek. "I suppose this is farewell, my princess." Alas, the world was against them. He couldn't spot any seats beside the ones in the very back.

@gracehustle

"You're so dramatic," She replied, laughing lightly and kissing his cheek in return. Taking a step away from him, she mock saluted before making her way to the first open seat she saw and sitting down, smiling back at him as she did so.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Dramatics are my thing," he said with a pout right before she left. He returned her smile, then headed over to one of the seats in the very back. It was his favorite spot since nobody paid the kids in the back any mind.

A few minutes after they sat down, the professor entered. A older man, with a teacher look him and salt and pepper hair to match. Jynna was digging through her bag when he came in, looking for a pencil or pen so she could take notes -or, more accurately, doodle on her notes for the whole class.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Oh, joy…" Rhydar muttered to himself, slumping over his desk with his head resting on his arms. He could already tell that this would be a boring class. This man clearly took his job way too seriously, and expected students to be just as serious. Nope. Not gonna happen.

@gracehustle

The teacher cleared his throat to quiet the class before beginning, "Good morning class, today we're going to pick up where we left off yesterday, this time with more notes." There was a collective groan, but apparently he didn't hear it as he continued on. As much as Jynna tried to focus, she zoned out and started doodling like usual.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Rhydar's eyes drooped, and he fought to stay awake. But the teacher's voice was so monotone. His eyes found where Jynna was sitting, and his lips twitched up in amusement when he noticed her doodling instead of paying attention. That's my girl.

@gracehustle

The lesson seemed to go on forever and Jynna checked the time every few minutes, filling a whole page of mindless doodles and patterns before the teacher seemed to even take a break in talking and giving their assignment.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Rhydar jerked awake, then rubbed at his eyes. God damn… I tried so hard not to fall asleep… He shook away the sleepiness and sat up with a yawn.
