@Fraust

Lloyd nodded. "I've seen several documentaries, some on wars, most on nature. For example, the learning capacities of dogs, or how elephants are similar to humans. Elephants actually mourn over their dead and return to gravesites."

@Fraust

"I think so. Where they talk about the dangers of fast food? How it's made, it's effects, et cetera?"

@Fraust

"I might as well be." Lloyd laughed softly. "I've never been officially vegetarian, but I don't really eat much meat. Or much at all, now that I think about it… Did I eat dinner last night?" He got a bit distracted, lost in thought.

@Fraust

Lloyd nodded. Did I eat dinner? Of course you didn't, most of the time you only eat lunch, sometimes not even that. Oh, yeah…

@Tylerrr-M-P

(sorry was asleep and was then a schooly boi)
Tyler headed up to the counter, ordered a coffee and another hot chocolate. He returned to the table, hot drinks in hand. 'Here you go, Yeon. No need to pay me anything.'

@Desvelarse pets

(It’s all good)

“Ah, thanks, man,” Yeon said with a grin, taking the drink. To him, this was amazing. He was always told to pay people back, especially if they are struggling too financially. But he guessed that Tyler hadn’t lived in the slums.

@Desvelarse pets

“Yeah, it’s fine. Lets see.. I live almost across town actually in the area that could be called the crime-ridden-slums, but it’s decent there. Tight community. Because I live there, I don’t have a job really working for anyone certain, but I do teach the kids in the area spanish, and their parents pay me for that. I did go to a community college, majored in computer design. Code, that sort of stuff.” Yeon explained. “How about you?”

@Tylerrr-M-P

'I live quite close to this area, and I go to the college around the corner - I'm studying medical. I used to live in London, but I got the opportunity to transfer here and study, and I took it. Currently, I work part-time at the dollar store, but I do gigs sometimes with my band, and it gets me some money,' Tyler said. 'I did just do the band for a bit, but it wasn't enough to pay for living.'

@blue_topaz

Lloyd nodded. Did I eat dinner? Of course you didn't, most of the time you only eat lunch, sometimes not even that. Oh, yeah…

“So, do you come here often?”

@Tylerrr-M-P

Tyler smiled, happy that Yeon was interested. 'I hope so, I really do. I'm really interested in neurosurgery. But, if my band happens to get big or something, then I'm hoping to do that.'

@Fraust

"Yeah, it's relaxing. Few people and the smell of coffee. I like to read here." He gestured to his heavy bag full of books. He guessed that it weighed at least half as much as he did.

@Fraust

(Mostly textbooks, a couple science textbooks, one math, one history, a large book of shakespeare's works, all of the Sherlock short stories compiled into one book, nerdy stuff like that.)
"Er, y-yeah, sure." Lloyd heaved the bag onto the table. He had actually become quite strong from having to carry it all day, though he didn't look it.

@Fraust

Lloyd nodded awkwardly. "I think I've read that whole thing at least ten times, I'm not sure why I still carry it around…"

@Fraust

"I think I've read one or two, I love classics though." Lloyd pulled out the massive Shakespeare book.

@blue_topaz

Her tawny eyes widened further. "I'm impressed! I don't many books, I usually just get from the library.", she admitted ruefully. "Can I take a look at it?"

@Fraust

"Yeah, sure." Lloyd handed her the book of poems. "I honestly have more books than I know what to do with." He pulled out a couple textbooks and a book titled The Book Thief. (real book btw one of my real life favs)

@blue_topaz

(I love that one!! The end made me cry ):

"I've never read that one." She indicated to one called The Book Thief. "What's it about?"

@Fraust

(Such a good book. No happy ending, really, but amazing.)
"It's a historical fiction book set in World War two, Germany. The main character, Liesel, steals books, hence the name. Some of them she steals from a library, and others from Jewish book burnings. I would recommend it, though it doesn't really have a happy ending…"
