Ethan rubbed hisbback gently. "I know babe. I'm sorry that you had to go through that." He murmured.

He breathed in a sigh and brought his head up. "Give me a second." He stood from the bed and found his phone. He dialed the number and leaned against the wall facing the bed, eyes focused on the ground

Ethan sat at the edge of the bed, watching him silently. He didn't touch him, but he hoped Raz knew he was there for him if he needed him.

The phone clicked with the sound of the line being picked up "Het Raz! What happened? you never came back with the food." Mel said
"…i…" His voice broke slightly "I..know what you did. How could you Mel? I trusted you! How many more?!" He slumped to the ground, tears in his eyes "never…never again." He declined the call before she could get a chance to answer and threw the side

Ethan stood up and pulled Raz into his arms. He stroked his back soothingly and kissed the top of his head. "I'm so sorry." He whispered softly

He shook his head and leaned into Ethan's comfort "I don't understand…" He muttered, feeling pathetic. "She tell you why?" He asked, looking up at him

Ethan shook his head. "No. But im glad she didn't. I've never hurt a woman but i would have if she tild me her reasons." He kissed the top of his head. "Let me cheer you up. What's something you want to do?"

He tried to breath evenly but it all came out staggard "anything, I don't want to stay like this."

Elijah nodded and took his hand. He kissed his knuckles gently. "Come on then, we're going out." He said with a smile

He glanced up and stood with him, shaking a bit "wh..where?" He asked, steadying himself against Ethan's form

Ethan wrapped his arm around his waist, holding him to him. "It's a surprise, but you're going to love it." He said looking down at him.

He glanced up, whiling away stray tears with his hoodie sleeve "a book store?" He asked hopefully "open 24/7? Cuz that would be hell of a surprise." He gave a weak smile "Im ready."

Ethan chuckled. "I don't think any bookstores are open this late but I promise I'll take you to one tomorrow." He bent his head and kissed his lips softly, comforting.

He kissed back, a smile appearing "thank you." He muttered, nudging Ethans lips with his "where are we going?" He inquired

"Its a surprise so stop asking and just start walking." Ethan grabbed the keys to the apartment and walked out, locking the door behind them.

He sighed but complied with Ethan's instruction, heading out. "Oh wait, mind if Jax comes?"

"I dont think where we're going is dog friendly. Tomorrow after The book store we can take him to the dog park. That sound good?" Ethan asled

He nodded "ok, I'll ask my neighbor to watch him later then." He followed Ethan out the door "so wanna give me a hint?"

Ethan chuckled and shook his head. "No, I'm not telling you. Its a surprise for a reason."

He sighed heavily "I've always hated surprises…" He muttered, lacing his hand with Ethans and nuging into his shoulder "thank you."

Ethan laughed and kissed his head. "You're welcome." He pulled hik closer to his side.

"hm, you're comfy." He nudged close. "So still no hints? ….not even one?"

Ethan shook his head again. "Nope, you're just going to have to wait until we get there. So stop asking or I'll have to pull you into an alley amd rickle you senseless."

"Fine, fine." He sighed and glanced around "Has she talked to you after you ran off?" he asked softly. He tried to shove away the pain of losing his friend but some of the hurt still lingered

"No, and I'm glad she hasn't." Ethan noticed Raz was down agaon and pushed him against a wall and started kissing all over his face

He laughed lightly, forcing it through the pain tilted his head "why do you keep doing that?" He asked through the kisses, running his hand through Ethan's hair

Ethan chuckled and kissed his lips last. "Because I can." He pulled back grinning at him. He pulled away from the wall.

He rolled his eyes and kissed him back. "Thank you," he muttered, leaning against him "now, let's go, I want to see the surprise."

Ethan chuckled. "We're almost there. Youre so impatient." After a couple more blocks they came across a cute cafe. "They have the best milkshakes here. I used to always go here after a bad day."

He tilted his head and smiled "And it's open at this time of day? impressive. I've seen most cafe's closed around 4." He glanced up at him "I'd like to put them to the test with Ridley." he teased
