"True. So you thinking of getting a dog then?" He asked.
"True. So you thinking of getting a dog then?" He asked.
She shrugged, "We'll see, you get a voice in he matter as well, so if that's what you want that's what we'll get."
He shook his head "this is my treat. You're choosing." He said with a smile
"Nope, you're getting a say in it as well," She replied, smiling, "Plus, I don't want to choose and have you not like the pet."
"I'm sure I'll like anything you choose. as long as it's not exotic or crazy," he said with laugh
She laughed and shrugged, "Either way, you're at least going to help me decide."
He nodded "I will." He kissed her temple and walked through the streets. "Any minute now Strange."
She walked alongside him as they made their way through the streets, looking around for any sign of Strange and his magic.
He appeared behind them "Sorry I'm late, had some minor troubles with some detours." he explained, dusting feathers off his shirt. "do not ask…"
"Now I want to ask," Avalin replied with a laugh, watching the feathers float to the ground as she turned around to look at Strange.
"chicken." Was all strange said, coming to stand beside Loki and Avalin. "So where to next?"
She looked up towards Loki as she answered, not sure if she was right, "New York again? I think?"
Loki nodded "yep. 418 Newington boulevard. He said to Strange who opened a portal "what's there?"
"You'll see," She replied to his question, a small smile settling onto her face.
Strange glanced at the two, impressed "so you told her but you can't tell the person who's taking you?I'm offended." he mocked, opening a portal to the street Loki had said.
"YOu're learning too quick Avalin." he laughed, waving as they headed through "I have to stay here for a friend. I'll meet you back in new York soon."
She laughed and shrugged, walking through the portal and arriving in New York, "I married you, your tricks were going to rub off on me eventually."
Loki walked through with her and laughed "I realized that but I didn't know it's happen so soon." He led her down the street to the shelter
Her eyes sparkled with excitement when she saw the shelter, trying to decide between a cat and a dog still.
Loki glanced down at her a grinned "told you you'd like it." he let go of her hand and gestured her fowards, "go ahead."
She looked up at him and then at the shelter, a smile on her face, “You sure?” She looked at the building again before continuing, “I’ll be right in side, I promise I’ll wait for you.” Avalin went up on her toes and gave him a quick kiss before bouncing off to the shelter.
He laughed softly and nodded, watching her bounce off. He turned around to find Strange watching
"Thank you for assisting in this. You have no idea how hard this would've been without you." Loki said
"My pleasure, Youre highness, now go. You're queen need you."
"And yours needs you. Congratulations on the marriage." Loki winked and turned to follow Avalin.
She opened the door and stepped inside the shelter, smiling at the people there and -like she promised- waiting for her husband. She bounced on her toes and glanced towards the door every so often, deciding that she would ask to look at both the cats and dogs and then choose.
Loki stepped inside and found Avalin "ready to choose?" he asked, taking her hand in his
She nodded and smiled up at him. “Could we look at the cats and the dogs before we decide though?”She asked.
He nodded "Of course." he glanced around at the cages that held the puppies and kittens, most of them sleeping peacefully while some jumped as they approached
Squeezing his hand for a moment, she tugged him over towards the puppies with a growing smile, “See any you like?”
"All my dear, but we can only get one sadly." He glanced over the cages, catching sight of a small black cat near the back
She sighed, “I know.” She gently let go of his hand and crouched down to pet a little chocolate brown and black puppy with bright blue eyes.
Loki smiled softly and glanced down at Avalin, who was preocupied with an adorable puppy. He crouched down next to her and lightly nudged the puppy behind it's ear "it's adorable."
She smiled and nodded, letting the puppy bite her hand playfully, “They’re all adorable, but this one especially.” She looked around at the rest of the puppies quick before looking over towards the kittens, still playing with the blue eyes bundle of energy in front of her.
