Seth cocked his head. "What is it?"
“An egg” he walked over and pulled out the egg and sat it slowly on the floor
"I can see that," Seth rolled his eyes. "I mean what is going to hatch from it?"
“ a bulette, I don’t know what kind though”
"That's cool," Tolkalee stepped forward a little, as to not seem threatening though, he kept a safe distance. "I've heard of them, but never seen them before."
It popped it’s head out and it climbed out he crawled slowly to Jackson “bulettes are the friends of the Dragonborn, the bull terriers is the sign of my tribe, I’m pretty sure it’s a Pygmy bulette it started stumbling up his knee”
Kat spoke “it’s so cute”
Tolkalee gave a half smile at it. "How big is it suppose to get? I hear they get pretty large."
“A bit larger than a horse “ he payed its head and gave it a small bit of meat and a small rock “they also can eat minerals, so they are just omnivorous”
Tolkalee took a step back after a bit then turned to leave. "I'm gonna get a camp set up," he called over his shoulder.
“Ok” Kat said she sat down her backpack “ I’m gonna go hunt”
"Just be careful," Seth called as she left. "Not that you won't."
“You can hunt with me if you want”
"If you don't mind," Seth smiled slightly. "Hunting would be fun."
“That would be great” she slung her bow of her back she headed down the stairs “I’ll wait for you at the bottom”
Seth smiled and followed her down the stairs. Tolkalee came back up the stairs a moment later. He had a back pack and an armful of wood. "How long have you been in these ruins?" He asked while setting his pack down.
“About a day” he said
"Have you met the people here yet?" he was digging through his pack. Though his statement made no sense. These were ruins and clearly no one hand been here in decades.
“No I only found ruins, why?”
Tolkalee gave a sad smile. "They all live out behind the city. In the flower garden. It's quiet peaceful out there you should visit it some time."
“Well I did find one burned but I found no courses and how there is less ashes so it was burned about a month ago”
She kept walking out in the forest once she got close to a clearing she climbed up a tree and was absolutely silent
Seth also stopped and remained silent. Letting Kat do the hunting. She seemed to be a master at it. Seth could hunt but he wasn't the best.
She sniffed the air she nocked the arrow and watched a group of dear trotting towards a creek
Seth moved silently placing himself into a position to make the deer move back towards Kat if the need should arise.
She drew the arrow back and let out a breath and fired the arrow wizzed through the air and lodged itself right into the deer’s lungs as she climbed down the tree as the other deer scampered of into the other side of into the forest
Seth was next to the deer she'd downed and had made sure it was dead. He glanced up as she approached. "Nice shot."
“Thanks” she said pridefully she carefully pulled out the arrow wouldn’t break and washed it in the creek
Seth grabbed the downed deer and began heading back. Stopping briefly by the creek to let Kat finish what she was doing.
She stood up and walked over to him “ready to go?”
"Yep," Seth started back towards the camp. They walked in silence, but it was a comfortable silence.
