Tolkalee masked his emotion when he heard the word elevator. "I would prefer the stairs," he bit his lip.
Tolkalee masked his emotion when he heard the word elevator. "I would prefer the stairs," he bit his lip.
“Sounds fair enough…” Jameson didn’t say goodbye to the icy figure in the middle of that floor but he didn’t seem to pay attention anyways. He headed straight for the stairs.
Tolkalee looked to the figure. "Thank you," he said then he followed Jameson.
The figure nodded and the mist returned to the Arena. The figure pulled the sword out of the ground and returned to doing his sword dance in the mist.
Walking down the stairs, they come across Floor 14 but there was no stairs down further on the side they’re on.
“Right… I forgot to tell you that with every floor, the stairs change position…” he pointed to the stairs on the other end.
Tolkalee sighed and shrugged. "Well, let's go."
Walking to the middle of the Arena, a figure can be seen hanging upside down from the ceiling.
“Who the hell…?” Jameson kept his tone quiet, in case the figure was not friendly. The shadows blocked who the figure’s face, so there was not really a way to tell who they were.
"Oh. That makes a lot of sense." Hinata continued to file the new information.
"Thank you." She bowed.
“I can actually keep going, there were a lot that happened after that war but maybe it’s better to tell you that story soon…” the Storm Caller stated. After that, they started to glitch in and out of reality. They rubbed their crown in a way that showed headaches.
"are you okay?" Hinata asked. She thought she might understand what is happening, but she wasn't sure.
The Storm Caller’s body broken into three figures, all of which had different clothing on.
“Who the hell was it?!” One of the figures asked the other two.
“Calm down why don’t ya?” One of the other figures replied.
“Indeed, calm down please” The last figure added to the end.
They all stood up and dusted themselves.
"Umm," Tolkalee looked up at the figure. "Should we get him down?" He moved his hand back towards his bow.
“Sure? Whatever suits you, plus I don’t even know who that is” Jameson commented.
Hinata nodded to herself. Her hunch had been correct.
The three figures turned to each other and agreed on who will introduce themself first.
“Okay…” one of the figures cleared their throat. “I am Neil Cyan, host of Royal Thunderstorm” they introduced themself, this was the slightly polite one.
“So my turn? I’m Absoul Pilot, host of Dark Winds” another figure introduced himself, this was the most impolite one.
“…and I don’t think I have to introduce myself” Desmond gave Hinata a soft smile.
"It's nice to meet you, Neil and Absoul." Hinata smiled in return to Desmond.
"And it is nice to see you again, Desmond."
Desmond coughed a little.
“I think you should have an idea of how the Knights and Paladins system works now” he wanted to confirm.
Sebastian was comforting Gavin and playing with Evan at the same time. He looked like a babysitter now… which was adorable… someone was missing and was missing for quite some time now.
"Yes, I believe I do." Hinata smiled again. She looked around at everyone. She was glad for the peace. She wondered where the Celestial Entity was.
(That is sooo cute…)
(Oh poor Hinata, the Celestial Entity wasn’t there but I was thinking about another person)
Sebastian looked around the Arena.
“Hey Mrs. Hinata, wasn’t Cronos on the floor earlier?” he looked to the floor to see absolutely no one.
"Y-Yeah, he was…"
Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, Hinata thought.
“Don’t worry, if someone happened to Cronos, the Clock Tower would chime like crazy” Neil comforted them.
Sebastian shrugged and nodded. He went back to taking care of the two kids, especially Evan since it is his birthday.
(You know I'm now worried that one of your responses will include the Clock Tower, right?)
Hinata nodded. She leaned against the wall again, hands in her pocket. She watched Sebastian, Gavin, and Evan.
She tried to think of something to give Evan for his birthday.
(Keep an eye out, I’ll tell you that much. Keyword : If anything happened to Cronos… anything)
Sebastian managed to put the two kids to sleep easily. He looked down at them and smiled.
“Why do I feel like you look like a father now, Seb?” Absoul jokingly said.
Tolkalee pulled his bow out and drew back an arrow. "Well, sorry for dropping you but-" he let the arrow fly cutting the rope.
The hanging figure came conscious as they were falling.
“Wahhhh~!!” The figure yelled out before landing on their back. They grunted as they stood up. It wasn’t someone new, it was just Sam who fell asleep in the weirdest place imaginable.
(I see.)
Hinata was toying with an idea. When Absoul commented, she looked up.
Sebastian looked up.
“I will say that I am not interested in having relationships as I find myself uncomfortable with maintaining one” Sebastian claimed.
“…uh…which part of your brain malfunctioned…?” Absoul laughed a little.
Hinata watched this unfold.
"How is it uncomfortable, exactly?" She asked.
Desmond sighed and giggled.
“Remember, Sebastian isn’t fully human, he doesn’t understand every emotion we feel. Sure he might be smart compared to normal machines but he still has malfunctions especially when it comes to handling emotions” he explained to Hinata.
I could fix that- Hinata pushed the thought back. She didn't want to be rude.
"So do some people; it's not uncommon."
“Sebastian often says that he wants someone to help with his problems since really, there are only two problems left; one being his problem with emotions and the other one is that sometimes he will speak in binary instead of actual words” Desmond sighed a little as he said it. “The Prince was the one who helped Sebastian with five other problems before and that became the robot boy you have now” he said, as Sebastian was patting both Gavin’s and Evan’s small heads with his human-like hands.
