(And the spider webs? Shivers)
(awww man i wanted to kill someone in hell or at least say burn in hell)
Sebastian turned to Hinata.
“You know, there’s this one kid whose ability I’m envious about… his name’s Ernest, he’s a kid with an ability that negates all armor worn physically or spiritually and that’s…” he laughed and sighed.
The figure tilted his head.
“What is wrong about it being too quiet?” They were genuinely confused.
The scorpion Knight laughed a little when the wolf bit the blade.
“Well well, nice dodge and counter…” they sent the wolf back flying at Loki. “Though I would say that it’ll end here—” as the scorpion Knight was going to slash down on Loki, his armor broke into literal ashes.
“NOW!!” A young voice came from behind the figure, wanting Loki to attack at this time.
(Oh… I’m sorry about the spider webs :P)
(you'd better be)
Hinata gave a small smile. This place was growing on her…
and that itself was dangerous.
(I am true to my words, I swear)
Gavin slithered onto Sebastian’s lap and started to fell asleep. Sebastian looked down at the kid and smiled, patting the kid’s head softly, wanting to calm him down.
Evan walked around the place, he was curious of the place.
Hinata glanced at Evan, then turned to Sebastian.
"So, what now?" she asked softly.
“I honestly don’t know… it would be nice if someone on our side showed u—” before Sebastian can even finish his sentence, a thunder bolt struck the middle of the Arena they were in and a figure came with it.
The new figure was wearing a navy blue mage robe with several golden and silver lapels. They were also wearing glasses. When they looked around and then looked up again, another bolt struck onto them. They cracked their knuckles and turned directly to Evan, smiling sinisterly.
"I- I don't like that look." Hinata turned to face the new figure. She reached behind her discreetly, ready to summon one of her Companion Swords if need be.
In an instance, the figure flashed from where they stood to right behind Evan. They raised their hand up, smiling as they did.
"Evan!" Hinata called, trying to remain calm. She started to run over to him.
Evan turned to Hinata.
“Yes?” He asked, the figure was gone when Evan turned to her… though they were still in the Arena somewhere.
Hinata slowed down.
"Th- Sebastian, you saw them too, right?"
(Congrats! You have achieved making Hinata doubt her sanity!)
“You know…” the Lost Wanderer started. “I do recall that two of the Knights in this generation were news reporters…” he claimed, thinking thoroughly about it.
(You’ll be either very happy or very mad when I reveal what that lightning figure was trying to do)
Sebastian nodded.
“Of course” he tried to keep his voice calm as he didn’t want to wake up Gavin who’s sleeping on his lap.
"Okay…" Hinata rubbed eyes, then went to lean against a wall.
"I'm getting old…"
(There's only one way to find out.)
“Which ones?” She asked, flipping through the radio.
When Hinata leaned against the wall, the figure appeared back in front of Evan, this time with something behind his back.
“I think they were Knights A and C… I don’t remember their names though…” the Lost Wanderer sighed. “I’m old now am I not?” They laughed at themself.
Hinata didn't notice the figure reappear; her eyes were closed and she was rubbing her temples.
The figure took this opportunity to shut Evan’s mouth while also telling Sebastian to keep quiet.
“Well well well…” the figure started with a grin.
“Seriously?” Adara gave a slight laugh. “Carlsen was a- wow. Just wow.”
“How about the oth— oh… It’s Aisen…” the Lost Wanderer facepalmed himself. “I hate my brain right now…”
Hinata looked up.
"W-"
She laughed. “Well, don’t hate it. You still need it.”
The figure smiled at Hinata.
“A little too late but we can work with this” he started to move his hand from behind his back to present Evan with something.
The Lost Wanderer smirked.
“That’s true… okay, so… what should we look at next?”
Hinata stayed leaning against the wall. She was close, and she could stop this if need be.
Adara glances over the items. “What about this?” She asked, picking the map up.
The figure smiled.
“Happy Birthday young lad…” the lightning figure said to Evan with a soft smile, handing him a small chocolate cake.
“You remembered…?” Evan was definitely shocked as the cake was his favorite.
“Of course, you’re one of the only people I really care about here… plus, Christmas’ coming up real soon, making people happy is what we do” the figure said with a huge smile.
The Lost Wanderer took a glance over it.
“This is definitely from another country, I’ve never seen this during my time in Greece…” he said. Of course, the map had a title. It said The Map of Central Thailand and on one of the corners, a green and golden naga symbol was on there.
Tolkalee looked around the arena. "Excuse me but what floor are we on?" He asked the figure that had put his sword down. Tolkalee didn't see him as a threat, at the moment.
