Tolkalee nodded in response to Jameson's answer. "Well, I'm trying to find all of them, so I'm going to go now. I don't mean to be rude, but I need to find them, finish all these shanagins, get back home, and fix everything there."
Tolkalee nodded in response to Jameson's answer. "Well, I'm trying to find all of them, so I'm going to go now. I don't mean to be rude, but I need to find them, finish all these shanagins, get back home, and fix everything there."
“I would say yes and no” Sebastian answered when Evan, the steampunk kid, jumped from the walls and landed on his face.
“Sounds like fun, mind if I tag along for a while?” Jameson commented and asked.
"That sounds about right." Hinata smiled a little, walking over to Evan.
Tolkalee shrugged. "If you want to, I really don't care either way."
Evan looked up with a bright smile.
“I AM ON TOP OF YOU NOW SEBASTIAN!!! PHYSICALLY THAT IS!! MWAHAHAHHHH~!!” The steampunk boy yelled with joy.
Jameson nodded.
“Alrighty then…” he walked to stand beside Tolkalee, waiting for him to walk.
Tolkalee began making his way back towards the arena. He didn't like how quiet it was right now. Eye of the hurricane, and you know it, a voice said in the back of his mind.
Hinata rolled her eyes.
"Come on, get up," she said, smiling and holding her hand out.
Evan accepted her hand and got up straight, he closed his eyes and smiled with his teeth showing.
Sebastian stood up soon after with a faint smile barely visible on his face.
The hallway Tolkalee and Jameson were in was not a normal one. As they walked deeper, the atmosphere changed to a much more chiller one. There were even snow and frozen furniture at one point. Jameson started to shake as they walked. Mist covered the hallway, making it a little harder to see.
"Do you know where we are?" Tolkalee asked glancing back at Jameson slightly. He didn't like this at all.
Jameson turned away from Tolkalee and sneezed.
“No idea, but this is the way to the Arena. I’m just not sure which floor we’re on” he answered.
Hinata laughed a little. It was just like back home.
It won't last. It never does. Hinata filed the thought away. She knew better than to dismiss it, for she knew the truth in the words, but she would not face them right now.
Tolkalee nodded but didn't say anything else. He was pretty sure they were walking into something bad, but he wasn't positive.
Evan and Sebastian looked at each other a little while Gavin walked up to them. Sebastian turned to Gavin and picked him up like a kid.
“It’s nice… it’s not usually this peaceful…” Sebastian said with a smile.
After sometime of walking deeper into the hall, a shadow figure can be seen in that floor’s Arena. The shadow figure seemed to be doing a sword dance and they were amazing at it. They seemed to be the one responsible for the mist and cold temperature.
"Do you know who that is?" Tolkalee asked spotting the figure.
"Things rarely are." Hinata smiled back. It was nice to have a break, no matter how short it was.
Jameson shook his head.
“No idea…” he kept his voice to a low tone.
Sebastian smiled.
“That is true… sorry for breaking the mood a little, but I’m worried about my generation… some of them aren’t so fine fighting on their own” he said whilst still faintly smiling.
"Well, that just means you'll have to work together." Hinata knew they wouldn't always be able to do so, but it is always better to have allies.
“That is not what I meant, I was saying that I don’t know where they are and that scares me” Sebastian corrected what he said.
Tolkalee walked warily forward and stepped into the arena. He called to the figure hoping they wouldn't straight up attack him.
Hinata sighed softly. She knew the feeling.
"All we could do is prepare them for the worst."
When Tolkalee called to the figure, the mist all travelled to the figure and disappeared. When the mist cleared, the figure was visible. They were wearing a light blue Knight armor and had a blue longsword with them.
“What seems to be the problem…?” The figure stabbed their sword into the ground. When he did that, the ground turned into an ice skating rink.
Sebastian sighed under his breath.
“I suppose you’re right…”
Loki groaned but the wound healed quickly and growled "I can throw and take a harder hit than that you idiot" hitting the scorpion where it counted
"Well, aside from it being way to quiet, nothing actually wrong," Tolkalee responded. "I'm just looking for my allies."
The scorpion Knight wasn’t fazed by what Loki did. They cracked their neck.
“Challenge Accepted…” the scorpion Knight stated, grabbing Loki by her collar and throwing her to the wall, sending her across three halls. The place Loki ended up was filled with spider webs. The scorpion Knight followed Loki soon after, attempting to stab her with the sword he held.
(Altrince…………………………………………….)
Loki moved out of the way shaping the shadows into her wolf Shade then attacked not the knight but his weapon
(“Returning the favor”… though the scorpion Knight’s going soon enough, I already planned this through. No one’s gonna die or get hurt… other than some bruises…)
