Marcus giggled at Hinata’s voice.
“It’s just our way of greeting each other, it’s tradition” he claimed with a mischievous smile.
“Well that was rude…” a figure stepped up from behind Tolkalee. The invisible wall broke into shards of mirrors and went into the new figure.
Loki looked at the Knight "What the hell!?!" She pulled out her dagger and got into a defensive stance
"Sure." Hinata folded her arms. Honestly, she wasn't sure about Marcus.
The scorpion like Knight licked the blade they held and went straight for Lychan’s head. Striking up, they paralyzed his body and sent him upwards, stinging him with the scorpion tail they had and threw his body towards Loki.
(human or ghost weapons can't effect a demon they phase right through them)
Marcus smiled a little and turned back to Sebastian.
“Well my dude, I’ll see ya around. Lord Azure called me so I just passed by to say hi” he said, walking back to the hall and disappeared in the shadows.
Tolkalee spun around and jumped back a step. "Please do not come up behind me unannounced." He breathed out hard realizing that he wasn't in immediate danger.
(Okay then…)
The scorpion Knight jumped back and chanted something to the blade they held. They enchanted the blade with an Angel’s Blessing after realizing that they’re going against demons. They spun the sword, shooting out rays of pure light at Lychan and Loki.
“Oh… uh… I’m sorry…” the figure apologized. Behind the figure, some shards of mirrors can be seen floating.
Hinata turned to Sebastian.
"You okay?"
“Oh of course, it didn’t hurt, it was just shocking… pun not intended” he said, standing up and straightening himself with a smile.
"Of course." Hinata smiled as well.
An image of the mirror back in the arena flashed in Tolk's mind. He looked the figure over trying to compare them to the one in the mirror. "I'm Tolkalee," he said after a moment. "May I ask who you are?"
“I’m Jameson Xavier, the host of Shattered Mirrors and the next generation’s Knight J after Sir Oliver” the figure introduced himself, giving Tolkalee a fair exchange.
"By chance, you wouldn't happen to know were a woman named Hinata is? Would you?" He asked trying not to get his hopes up.
Loki jumped out of the way pushing Lychan down and fused with him to become a full Dark Seraph then using the power of a full Dark Seraph the cut the scorpion Knight's head off "Bastard"
(That seems a little over powered, don't you think?)(cough cough Mary Sue! cough cough)
(only if they lose control but for the most part they don't so no not really)
The figure, Jameson, thought about it for a moment.
“I heard that she’s at the Arena, 9th floor I think” the figure answered.
(If we’re going that route then I will as well)
The head of the scorpion Knight came right on back, taking the chance to grab Loki by her collar and smashed her to the ground, stabbing the light sword down on her body.
The Lost Wanderer walked around while Adara was searching.
“Found anything interesting in that?” The man asked, gesturing to the radio.
“It’s not doing anything,” she said, frustration in her tone.
The radio started playing on its own.
“Hello Hello! Good Morning! Welcome back to our Bright Morning News with me —~——~—”
“And of course, me! —~——~—”
“And to start off this morning we’ve got not so good news… a local rock guitarist was found dead in his hotel room during a tour. The police have speculated that they might have died of suicide but they couldn’t be sure just yet”
“Other speculations on the internet said that the man might have died of alcohol overdose, more on that at 10. For us, let’s look at more of the happy side of yesterday’s night. A fourteen-year-old saved the life of a lost cat and decided to take care of it”
“Yes, the cat was an Amber Maine Coon, and it was left by its old owner at the large garbage dump”The radio stopped there. Both of the reporters’ names were censored.
Both of the voices would be familiar to Adara.
Sebastian turned back to Hinata.
“Do you think we should get him?” he asked, pointing to the still spinning kid, Gavin.
Adara tilted her head. She could recognize the voices, but from where?
“So… since it is a radio, do you want to try and change the channel?” The Lost Wanderer suggested.
Sebastian turned back to Hinata.
“Do you think we should get him?” he asked, pointing to the still spinning kid, Gavin.
"Yeah, I think so. He's been like that for a while now…" Hinata walked closer to Gavin.
Apparently Gavin was trying out something new, he was quite surprised with himself as well. By continuously shifting pushes and pulls, he was able to float without a problem. He floated to Hinata and landed softly, still with the teddy bear in his hand. He looked behind Hinata.
“Uh… how long has it been since he was here?” The childish figure asked, pointing at Sebastian.
"A few minutes." Hinata smiled.
"You seem happy with yourself."
“I am happy” the childish figure confirmed while planting his face back into the teddy bear.
“WOOHOOOOOOO~~” ah, the steampunk child was still running up and down the walls.
"Ah- is he okay?" Hinata asked playfully.
