She sighed and crossed her arms, looking up at him, "You don't have to pay for my drink to be a gentleman. Plus, if you pay then I'll drink too much, this way I'm limiting myself to something cheap."

He huffed a laugh and finally relented. "Fine. But only this one time." He kissed the top of her head, then gestured to the bar. "Take your pick, Princess."

"Thank you." She unfolded her arms and grabbed the money out of her pocket, heading up to the bar. Her eyes scanned the available drinks and soon enough she ordered a fruity something or other, she didn't really pay attention to the brand, just the flavor.

He got himself a bottle of wine, as he was running low and really liked wine. The guy at the counter flicked his eyes between Rhydar and Jynna curiously, shrugged, and got their orders.

She smiled to the bartender and set her money on the bar, glancing over at Rhydar and studying his piercings while she waited for her drink.

Rhydar leaned against the counter and chatted with the bartender as he got their drinks. In no time, they had their drinks and were handed their change with a friendly farewell.

She smiled in thanks and happily took her drink and change, stuffing the money into her pocket, “So, what do you want to do after we leave?” She asked, taking a sip of her drink.

He sighed at the question, being overly dramatic as always. "Haven't you learned by now what kind of answer you'll get by asking that?"

"I have, but I'm going to ask it anyway," She said with a shrug, the corners of her lips turning up into a half smile at the flavor of the drink.

"And I'll keep saying it: I have no clue." He saw her smile as she tasted her drink. "You like it?"

Jynna nodded, "It's really good." She looked around the space and leaned against the bar, "Well, do you have any suggestions for what to do after this? I don't have any ideas at the moment, give me some time and drunk me might have some crazy suggestions though."

He smirked at that. "Hmm, maybe I will wait until Drunk Jynna shows up and puts some excitement into my life." He leaned on the bar next to her, setting his bottle of wine next to him–and within his eyesight–and crossing his arms.

She laughed and took another sip of her drink, wondering how much alcohol was actually in it, “When I’m drunk I’m very unpredictable, just to warn you.”

"All the better," he chirped with a grin.

She rolled her eyes and glanced at the bottle of wine, "You're going to drink that whole thing?" She asked, her drink slowly getting emptier.

"I'm waiting to bring it home and savor it," he said giving a pointed look at her steadily disappearing drink.

"Good idea," She looked over at her drink and shrugged, "I don't think I'm going to do that though." The buzz from the alcohol made her smile and she continued drinking.

He chuckled and lightly grabbed her waist, moving her so she was right in front of him. He nuzzled her neck, giving a pointed look at a few guys ogling her, and whispered, "You're still full of surprises."

Her smile grew slightly, "I suppose I am," She replied, setting her drink down alongside his on the bar.

He chuckled and kissed the side of her head. "So. Are you too tipsy to safely ride the motorcycle without surveillance, or are you good enough to get back to your house?"

“I dunno.” She glanced at her drink before giving him a puzzled look, “Wait, what would you do if I drove to my place on the motorcycle?”

"You, missy, are not driving anything. Especially that thing." He lightly poked her cheek in emphasis, his other arm wrapping around her middle to hold her tightly against him–though his grip was still somehow gentle.

She scowled "I'm not that drunk, you can trust me." Even as she said it, she knew it was a lie and a small smile appeared on her face even as she tried to hide it.

"Hmmm, do you even know how to use a motorcycle properly? Sober, that is." He chuckled and kissed the side of her head again. "Sorry, sunshine, but I'll have to say that I don't trust you in this state. You're grinning like a lunatic."

"I think I know how to." She shrugged, "If not, there's a first time for everything." Jynna reached out and grabbed her drink as she continued, trying and failing to stop grinning, "And again, not that drunk."

He shook his head, eyeing her drink that she grabbed again. "Nope. Not gonna happen. I may like you better than most people, but my trust only goes so far."

She sighed and shrugged, “Worth a shot, I guess that means you’re driving back if I’m not?” Swirling her drink around, she glanced around the room absentmindedly.

"Yeup," he said, popping the p. "We going now or not? Or do you want me to buy you another drink, 'cause you seem to like it a lot."

Her eyes flicked to her drink and she bit her lip, "I shouldn't, I'm going to have a hangover in the morning if I drink too much..but one more drink wouldn't hurt, would it?"

He couldn't hold back his amused grin. He leaned back to get the bartender's attention. "Hey, another one of these please?" He pointed at the drink in Jynna's hand. The bartender gave Rhydar a thumbs up and started working on it.
