Lucian’s jaw tightened as he looked at the scar. It was too close to one of her main artery’s, and it made him sick to think that her own father did that to her. “Bloody hell, I had no idea..”

Daso stared at his bracelet. Still edged with blood. Did he want it? His sister had just tried to have him killed. She hated him now.
His thoughts were interrupted by Leah's voice calling him to the kitchen. What was she doing up and about? Dropping the bracelet into his pocket, he hurried into the kitchen, worried.

Lucian heard Leah call for all of them, but he ignored her for a moment. His brow furrowed as he looked at Morrigan. “Sexual harassment? Oh god..” he muttered, his grip on her hand tightening slightly.
