“How about the newspapers first? They seem kinda tempting”

The Lost Wanderer looked around.
“How about the newspapers first? They seem kinda tempting”
The large painting’s eyes fell off… they weren’t part of the painting but rather, they were jewels. Someone put them in the painting’s eyes, most likely hiding them. The jewels were blue diamonds.
"Alright…" Adara trailed off. She picked them up, her eyes narrowed slightly.
Loki gasped and picked up the jewels "These are beautiful! Lychan do you see these?"
Lychan nodded grabbing one "wonder where they came from."
The headline of the newspaper was… not okay…
Valentine’s day, a 27-year-old male teacher from a local school, raped and killed two 14-year-old students
(UM)
(Yeahhhh… that’s someone you know…)
(dark but cool)
(I think that's the sinful act)
(What else can it possibly be?!)
(DEATH)
In the room Loki and Lychan were in, only two things remained; the old mage robe and the broken angel halo.
"Hmm…" Adara pursed her lips.
The newspaper Adara held up didn’t have a symbol on it. The next page of the newspaper also had a headline.
Graduate medical student accused for having helped an illegal jewelry trafficking group
(I really recommend reading this one…)
loki grabbed the halo but it burnt her hand and made her drop it immediately "ah!! Holy object right…" so she picked up the robe
The pieces were coming together… but slowly. "What…"
The old robe was made from quite a nice type of fabric. On the back side of the robe, there was a Distorted Musical Note symbol.
Lychan took the robe from Loki and put it on "How do I look?" he laughed
Loki sighed "ridiculous as always. Take it off"
"no"
The contents of the paper were mostly boring, but some parts were highlighted. There was also an image that went with the article, it was one of a Portrait.
Due to the reason that the student can speak several languages and has knowledge regarding jewels, they were accused for helping the trafficking group
After a long time of investigating, the police could not find solid evidence that the student had connections with the group nor could they find any jewelry in the student’s possession. They then decided to not arrest to graduate student and continue with finding the group themselves
"Does that mean that…" Adara's eyes were glowing slightly.
The viscount came back into the room Loki and Lychan were in.
“You two done?”
The Lost Wanderer saw Adara’s reaction to the newspapers.
“What may be wrong?”
Tolkalee chose to move across the room away from all the stuff, and people.
Loki looked at the halo "well we missed one thing" she looked at the burn on her hand
The viscount looked over to the halo.
“Oh… right. Anyways, should we go to the next floor? Lord Script is waiting” he said to Loki.
Loki nodded "lychan take a rest i'll summon you when we get there" she tapped her dagger
Lychan returned to the dagger
The viscount nodded and walked out, saying something to the Seraphim who was the owner of the room and waved him goodbye.
“Alright, come on” he said to Loki, pressing something on the panel.
"farewell and thank you sir" Loki gave a graceful bow
The Seraphim smiled and waved a little.
When the viscount pressed the panel, Loki and himself were teleported to a new hall.
The new hall they were sent to was the complete opposite of the one they came from. The hall was dark, dusted and had spider webs in almost every corner. There were only candles that light up the hall and bookshelves were every where. The viscount looked at the tablet beside the panel.
“Talon, not here… Neil, not here… Zeros is here and Absoul is here” he looked up to Loki. “Which secretary would you prefer to meet, the one named Zeros or the one named Absoul?”
Hinata, seeing her powers were nearly fully restored, woke up.
"Now that was a good nap." She didn't mention Cassius.
