(Oh god XD, imagine Aisen’s and Cronos’ reaction when Hinata just flew towards the cage)
Tolkalee slashed upwards at Conner. Then, in one movement, sheathed his dagger and used his free hand to grab Conner sling him to the ground and plant his short sword in his chest. He then pulled his bow out, with his foot resting on Conner's shoulder, he sent another volley of arrows at the chariot.
The chariot rider turned to the volley of arrows and turned the cage he held towards it.
As a result, Hinata’s body was used as a meat shield for the chariot.
Connor was now too weak to even move a limb and cursed silently on his own. Soon after, his body disintegrated as a result of his aura pool no longer flowing normally. An artifact was left behind, it reads Soul Sword Dance.
Hinata groaned as the arrows struck. Her energy was being sapped quickly, but she had enough left to dig her hands into the floor.
Some of the red strings behind the chariot pulled Hinata up from the ground and forced her towards the portal in the small cage. On the other hand, the viscount that is Lord Harkin had no way of escaping the situation he’s in.
Aisen and Cronos were still trying to think of a way to get Hinata out of the situation she was in, while trying their best not to get pulled into the portal in the cage.
Hinata, being her, was cursing like a sailor. She was trying to think of a way out, and cursing seemed to help, for some odd reason.
Aisen thought of something and let himself go with the pull of the portal. The chariot rider laughed when Aisen flew towards the portal…
Tolkalee sheathed his sword, strapped his bow to his back and began running forward. He slowed time and tick tacked off the wall leaping towards the chariot. Landing on one of the skeleton horses.
The chariot rider wasn’t affected by the time manipulation.
He didn’t turn to Tolkalee.
“Tonakee’s fate is on thin ice if you’re gonna keep doing that…” their voice was calm and not as aggressive as they were.
“The Purple Cauldron Tavern…? Not the best place to be in this situation I would say…” he added with a slight laugh at the end.
(Tolkalee has the horses in the back XD)
(OMG)
(Bringing Tonakee into this was a bad idea. Just sayin')
Tolkalee jammed his dagger into the skeleton horse's neck then he hopped to the next one. He said nothing.
(I didn’t say I was gonna bring Tonakee here… did I…?)
The chariot master cursed and turned his chariot to another direction, knocking Tolkalee off balance. He closed the cage he had and rammed straight into a wall. A portal had opened on the wall and closed as the chariot master left.
(And I’ve got to go… frickity fracking heck)
Tolkalee fell to the ground and scrambled to his feet again. "NO!" He watched the chariot disappear. Horror in his eyes.
(Wait, is Hinata in the cage yet, or not?)
(Oh, by!)
(I can quickly answer! No, she’s not in the cage! Ok, bye!)
(Okay, by! Thanks!)
A figure in a cloak walked up to Adara from behind her.
“Interested…?” He asked. The shadows hid what was beneath the cloak, though his voice was young and attractive to say the least. Only his small smile was not blocked by the shadows.
Adara whipped around. She narrowed her eyes at the figure, but didn't speak. "Yeah…"
"Loki looked at him "I don't know what i do or what this place is but if i summoned Lychan he could help"
The cloaked figure beside Adara smiled slightly.
“Looks like they’re done…” he started to walk towards the middle of the Arena.
The viscount beside Loki raised a brow.
“Lychan? What or who is that?”
Hinata laid on the ground, groaning. She looked like a human pin cushion.
Tolkalee seemed a statue. His body rigid, and his fists clenched. If anything happened to Tonakee, death was inevitable, and the danger was, that he might not be able to control who he attacked.
Aisen and Cronos were in shock of what happened to Matthew. They knew that there was a way to bring him back but they might lose themselves in the process. Valuing their own lives over Matthew, they shrugged the thought off and decided to stay with Tolkalee and Hinata for now.
Tolkalee suddenly pulled something out of his pocket. A little heart shaped piece of wood. He held it tightly in his fist, whispering something. He seemed to be almost glitching in and out of time. He was moving around, pacing, but he would be in one spot, and then suddenly appear in another. A mix of worry and burning rage seemed to be pulsing off him.
Aisen had to let out a sigh.
“Great, now we’ve lost Matthew our only support Knight who is willing to help…” he stated.
“Well… we can only go find Chris now” Cronos ended, standing up and dusted himself off.
The demonic figure within the Arena slowly broke into smaller pieces. The parts of the demonic figure came together as an artifact, what was left in place of the figure was the body of a child. White flames ignited on his arms but were not that strong. Their skin was burnt and the air didn’t seem that healthy for them.
Loki tapped her dagger and quickly said an incantation in Japanese as the shadows seemed to form a male figure that soon became Lychan, Loki's demon. She turned to Lychan "This is Lychan. Lychan this man is helping us find Alex and we are in his favor so don't be a dumb ass and destroy anything"
Tolkalee moved next to Hinata, and began treating her injuries. He was shaking, hard. But he managed to carefully remove all the arrows and treat the wounds.
