"Even so," Tolkalee looked back out at the knights. "He is still going to be one of the biggest problems, There are four of them. Two can attack at a time, and one can heal the one holding back. All they have to do is rotate. We would wear ourselves to nothing trying to fight the others. They're corrupt, but I don't think they're dumb."
Matthew and Aisen sighed.
“I suppose you’re right…” Aisen accepted.
“The Corrupted Versions will fight exactly like the actual Knights. Just that they’re not on our side” Matthew added.
"Can you give me a run down of miss Luna's abilities? I'll be able to come up with a semi decent plan if I know what we're up against," Tolkalee was tightening his gear.
Aisen shook his head but Matthew nodded.
“Luna’s ability allows her to travel through people while on her chariot. She can break any kind of protection while on the chariot. And similar to Intharachit and his naga, Luna can’t be knocked of her chariot using force. She can also turn her entire chariot into weapons like a scythe, a spear or a sword while on one of her two horses. The horses are also dangerously quick” Matthew explained.
"No sir we have been bonded since we were 5" Loki laughed
The viscount with Loki looked at her.
“Lord Miller is a Seraphim, the highest rank an angel can have so having a demon related entity with him can be… questionable. So just don’t do anything disrespectful and you’ll be fine…” the viscount said to her then turning back to the angelic figure.
“May we search through your room please, my lord?” The viscount asked.
“Of course, though upstairs is a little messy. I hope you don’t mind” the angelic figure laughed, covering his mouth with his right hand.
"thank you sir and i am known as a dark seraph from where i call home" loki nodded and walked upstairs
Hinata nodded.
"This is gonna be interesting…"
When the viscount and Loki were out of sight of the Seraphim, the viscount turned to Loki.
“I never knew such a thing as a Dark Seraphim existed… kinda interesting to say the least…” he said to her while walking up the stairs. They went to Lord Miller’s storage room first. Inside were a bunch of books arranged in stacks, both new and old. The room was just as clean as downstairs but lacked good lighting.
“Okay, this room is kinda big so… go ahead…” he gestured into the room.
Matthew summoned his spear while Aisen got a grasp on his blades.
“It sure will be…” Cronos said before summoning his staff, preparing for anything that may come to them.
Hinata drew Tatsuo and Katsuo. She held them crossed over her chest, prepared for anything.
As the group were preparing for an attack or to do an attack, another figure bursted through the other side of the Arena. They were huge compared to the Knights and looked more like a Demon than anything. Their body looked like it was made from burning rocks and between the openings seemed to be lava. The figure’s horns curved inwards and they were wielding a burning longsword as well.
All the Corrupted Knights turned to face the new figure.
"What the f-" Hinata whispered, not wanting anyone to hear her.
Lord Harkin’s nature-side eye flashed. Enchanted trees came up from the ground and grabbed onto the Corrupted ones, disabling their ability for a little bit.
The demonic figure on the other side growled loudly and launched itself at Connor’s corrupted form, slashing down on him. The enchanted trees aren’t affected by the flaming sword but Connor let out a pained cry.
Tolkalee pulled out his short sword from his quiver, and his dagger. His eye was traveling around the room fast taking in everything. "Who is that?" he asked. His left leg was sliding back slowly.
Aisen turned to Tolkalee.
“I have no idea… though it would appear that he’s on our side…” he said, unsheathing both of his blades.
(And I need to seriously stop leaving…)
Hinata lowered into a fighting stance.
"I don't know about you, but I'm not planning on getting close to him."
(Have Adara walk to the panel and just click on a random button and just end up where everyone is, trust me, you want Adara to be with this new demonic boy)
(Okay…)
Adara glanced around. Everyone had left. She must have dozed off. Sighing, she looked around for them. She spotted a panel and shrugged, walking over to it. The others weren't in sight.Shrugging, she clicked a button.
(It's Jonathan!)
"Okay here's the plan," Tolkalee looked at each knight carefully. "Aisen, and Matthew I want you two to come in from the side and go for either Luna or Forest. Hinata, and Cronos you two go for Cassius, then Hinata, come help me with Conner. You have the lightning." He took a step forward. "My primary target is Conner, so I'll have help from Mr. Fireball over there. But I will also slightly be keeping the remaining one distracted so you guys can converge on the. Ready?"
Hinata nodded.
"Let's do it."
As Aisen nodded to that, Connor’s body flew from the middle of the Arena to the wall by a simple kick from the figure. Lord Harkin’s eyes widened. “Such ability is rare…” he muttered, lowering the enchanted trees so that the demonic figure can attack the other corrupted Knights with ease.
When the demonic figure walked, something stood out. Sounds of footsteps weren’t made, rather it was sounds of metal clanking. The rocks that the figure’s skin was made out of were actually pieces of metal and the lava on the inside was a combination of red and white.
Connor wasn’t dead but was paralyzed and burnt.
"Holy shit…" Adara said. She stared around at the place. "I think I found them…" she said to herself.
(JONNY BOI, THE PIPES THE PIPES ARE CALLING)
"Let's go." Tolkalee didn't wait to see if anyone else was with him he just charged.
The enchanted trees effect were gone and the Corrupted Knights were released from it.
Aisen and Matthew both rushed to Forest before he could do anything. Aisen got a hit on Forest’s arm with his black blade, cancelling Forest’s ability.
While that was happening, a chariot rammed into Matthew mid-air and sent him to the edge of the Arena.
Cronos didn’t wait for Hinata and went straight to Cassius. The red strings behind Cassius seemed to miss Cronos but got a grasp from behind him, slinging him right to Matthew’s body which was stuck on the wall.
Hinata charged, focused on ending the battle.
The only viscount in the Arena knelt down to the ground and chanted something while the Corrupted Knights were distracted. The ground came up as spikes and pinned the Corrupted Knights to the wall.
“Matthew, now!” He turned and shouted at Matthew who was stuck on the wall.
“Understood” Matthew replied, turning his hands to the wall. Some electricity was sent through the wall, to the ground and up the spikes.
Cassius and Luna didn’t react much to it but was affected by it.
Connor and Forest, on the other hand, both let out a pained scream.
Hinata ran up to Cassius, preparing to cut him in two.
Cassius turned to see Hinata.
He didn’t hesitate to send his red strings towards her and fling her upwards. When she was sent up, Luna’s chariot rammed right into her. Hit by the chariot, Hinata’s body would be beside Matthew and Cronos.
