Miko slipped the ring onto Ellie's ring finger quoting a bible verse to be cheesy about it "And the two shall become one"

Ellie gave a small giggle. "You won't have a ring," Ellie said sadly.

"always prepared" Miko pulled out a matching ring even though hers had lese engravement then Ellie's witch had vine like engravements in it

"We match now," Ellie beams. She looks at the finger the ring has been placed upon. "I still can't believe this is really happening," Ellie smiled widely.

Miko smiled back softly "I never thought i would be able to do that"

"I didn't ever think I would be on this point in my life," Ellie giggled.

"Me either" miko sayed quietly

"Well, we both made it, it's hard to think that we were just high school friends," Ellie giggled

"yeah love is crazy" Miko smiled as she wrapped her arms around her fiance

"We are such a cheesy couple but thats what makes us great," Ellie smiles up at Miko

"yup and that means we will last for as long as anything that has been here before us" Miko smiled and looked into Ellie's eyes

"I hope so," Ellie said giving Miko a dopey grin entranced by the thought.

Miko chuckled

"So, what do people who are engaged do," Ellie wondered aloud.

"Plan the wedding i guess" Miko gave a small shrug

"We can do that," Ellie smiled

"Yeah. And we both should know what we want" Miko said

"I like outdoors weddings and not big poofy dresses," Ellie said cheerly

"want me to wear a tux?" Miko burst into laughter as she finished that sentence "and colors what colors"

"You can wear what you want to wear, Miko. Oh ya and colors, I want my dress to be a periwinkle color,"

"I'm gonna wear my prom dress i never got to wear it is a knee length dress that is a darker shade of purple with gold-ish highlights so we mix" Miko remembered the dress fondly when she bought it

"You never went to prom?" Ellie questioned her prom very vividly.

"No my mom got sick the day before d=so i stayed home even though she wanted me to go remember?" Miko tried to smile but remembering her mom and what had happened to her tugged her smile into a sad frown

"Oh ya, I-I'm sorry for bringing it up," Ellie said trying to break eye contact.

Miko closed her eyes the tears stinging them "It's alright. The past is there to teach and to remember the good times not the bad"

"Ya like um when we met. that was happy right," Ellie said trying to change the subject and to stop Miko crying.

Miko didn't open her eyes but a smile came to her face "That was the best day of my life"

"Now look where we are," Ellie said reaching up and cupping Miko's face.

Miko put her hands over Ellie's smiling "True we made it this far and hopefully we go as far as our lives will take us"
