“God’s more powerful than Satan. He got rid of him because he was sinful, and sin can’t be in heaven. That’s why he had to leave, along with you and me.”
“God’s more powerful than Satan. He got rid of him because he was sinful, and sin can’t be in heaven. That’s why he had to leave, along with you and me.”
Alex groaned softly and facepalmed, "Can we not talk about politics? It makes my head hurt…"
Beau shrugged and leaned back on the couch. "What would you prefer we talk about?"
Trinity bit her lip. She'd only heard stories of the devil, but she'd never actually met one of his followers until now.
Alex shrugged a shoulder, "I din't know, anything but Lucifer and God."
"Alright. What's your favorite thing about earth compared to hell?"
"The people. They aren't always screaming or begging for mercy. That is, unless I want them to." Amelia winked.
Beau sighed. “I mean, alright. That’s fair I guess. Anyone else?”
Trinity blinked her wide, innocent eyes and looked at Amelia fearfully.
Amelia noticed Trinity staring and winked at her.
The sweet angel quickly blushed and looked away.
Beau pulled Trinity closer to himself, casting a pointed look at Amelia. (He’s really protective rn but he obviously supports Trinity being into girls)
She rested her head on his shoulder and averted her gaze form Amelia's.
Alex smirked at the interaction between the three of them, coughing slightly to cover a laugh.
Trinity swallowed nervously and whispered something to Beau.
Beau pulled her closer, still glaring at Amelia.
Amelia glared back at Beau.
"Got a problem, Angel?"
“Yeah, you’re scaring my sister. If you touch her, I’ll fucking end you.” He said simply.
"Oo, touchy, touchy." Amelia leaned against the wall, beer still in hand.
Trinity's eyes darted around anxiously, giving away how clearly fearful she was.
Beau sighed, but didn’t change his defensive posture. He wouldn’t consider himself to be particularly violent, but he was more than willing to at least punch Amelia if she tried to hurt Trinity.
(Beau: if anything happens to her I will kill everyone in this room and then myself)
(Trinity: … Beau, no)
Trinity's eyes met Amelia's for a second and locked before the trembling angel looked away. You're such a coward, Trinity…
Amelia took a swig of her beer, staring at Trinity.
Alex sighed loudly, rubbing at his temples, "Alright bitches, I get we don't like each other but can we at least keep the threats to a minimum."
"I will if she stays the hell away from Trinity."
Alex raised a brow, "I guess that's acceptable."
Trinity felt Amelia's stare, and she recoiled into Beau's arms.
"I'll agree to those terms. Begrudgingly." Amelia winked at Trinity, then turned to look at Alex.
A pale pink blush coated the angel's cheeks.
Alex stifled a chuckle at the wink, knowing Amelia would get pissed off.
