Elijah looked up at Leo, eyes wide. "I dont know where I am or why I'm here. Last thing i remever was getting cursed by a witch and then I woke up here. Nothing is familiar. Nothing is like home. I just want to go home." Elijah had never broken before, had never cried since he was a child, but he cried then in that moment.
Leo’s heart broke a little for Elijah. His first thought had been that witches done exist but then again, he had just turned from a statue to a person. He took a small step forwards, “Can I hug you, Elijah?”
Elijah whimpered but nodded his head. He couldn't remember the last time he had been hugged. Maybe when he was five…he didn't know.
Leo stepped the rest of the way and wrapped his arms around Elijah, “I’ll help you, you’re not alone.”
Elijah hesitantly wrapped his arms around the strange boy. Amd after a moment, he hid his face in his neck. He had quit crying, though he still felt like it.
Leo rubbed soothing circles across Elijah’s back, holding him for as long as he needed. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t have too.
After taking several deep breaths, Elijah pulled out of his embrace. He wiped the remianing tears off his face. "Why did you bring me here?" He asked.
“Well, you don’t have anywhere else to go. I have a spare room and can lend you some clothes. I doubt anyone else will help you,” Leo shrugged, slipping a hand into his pocket, “You can stay with me for however long you need to.”
"I don't have anywhere to go. I don't think I can go home." It was obvious that whereever he was, it wasn't the same year the had come from. "What's the date?" He asked.
“May ninth, twenty nineteen.” Leo bit his lip and shuffled his feet nervously. He had no reason to be worried… yet he was.
Elijah's eyes widened. Over two hundred years, that's how long he had been stuck in stone. His breathibg started increasing, his heart racing. Gone, they were all gone. He had hoped it wouldn't be true. He had hoped this was all a dream and he would wake up in his bed back at home. His knees gave out on him and he sat on the floor in a ball.

Leo quickly crouch down beside him. He felt so bad. He slowly touched Elijah’s shoulder gently, “I’m sorry.” He said quietly, shuffling a little closer to the other. He heard his phone ding but he didn’t answer it, Elijah was his main priority right now.
Elijah just buried his in his knees, trying to block out the world. Why had he been punished so cruely? He didn't deserve this, no one did. So why was he the one punished in such a way. When he heard a strange ding, he jumped, his head raisin and looking around for the source.
Leo pulled out his phone, quickly replying to the text before he slipped his phone back into his pocket, “Hey, do you want to have a bath or a shower? I can order some food and we can just… relax and help you calm down.”
Elijah but his lip. "A bath would be nice." Only problem was that he didn't know how to make a bath. It had always been done for him. Everything had always been done for him. But he didn't voice that out loud. He could figure it out. How ard could it be?
Leo nodded and stood up, offering his hand for Elijah to take, “Perfect.” He smiled softly, “Do you need any help getting it started or do you want me to do it?” He asked, knowing how difficult it might be for him.
Elijah excepted his hand and stood up. He shook his head at the offer. He had baths before. It couldn't be that hard right? "I'll be okay." He voice croaked from all the crying and hysteria.
Leo looked unconvinced but nodded anyway, “Okay. I’ll be out here so just call for me if you need anything. I’ll find some clothes and bring them too you, as well as a towel.” He led Elijah down the hall and into the bathroom. It was nice an tidy, only the bare essentials layer out. The bath was in one corner with a shower head over the top. Leo pointed to one set of taps, “Those turn the tap on, left is cold, right is hot water.”
Elijah nodded to him. He closed the door once Leo left with a sigh. How hard could it be? Just turn the nozzle things. Apparently it was very hard because suddenly it started raining inside! He strained and tried to get away but ended up slipping on the way floor.
(I jave state testing today so I wont be on for a few hours)

Leo came back with a pair of sweatpants, a plain T-shirt and a towel. He knocked before stepping in, "I've brought you som-" He stopped when he saw the scene and quickly rushed to turn off the taps, "You alright?" He asked, placing the clothes on the sink before couching down next to Elijah.
Elijah was backed up against the cabinets under the sinks. His chest was hevaing as he stared at the rain that wasnt rain. "W-what was that? How is it raining? There's no hole in the ceiling."
Leo chuckled, "It was the shower head, you turned on the wrong tap." He shuffled over to the bath and put the plug in the drain. He then turned on the hot water and instead of coming out the shower, it came out the other tap.
Elijah shuffled over to watch what Leo was doing. He watched in amazement as water began coming out of a different nozzle. "Where does the water come from?"
“The pipes.” Leo explained briefly. He put some cold water into the bath and then some bubbles.
Elijah just lokked at him with a confused expression but didn't say anything further. He stood up amd started stripped, which took a little time with all the straps amd strings he had to undo. He wasn't ashamed of nudity. He was used to stripping in from of people, his servamts.
Leo blushed a deep red when Elijah was undressed and he kept his gaze down on his knees. He cleared his throat and turned the taps off, standing, “U-Um, there’s clothes o-over there you can wear. I-I’ll be in the living room if you need me.” He cursed the stutter and quickly left the bathroom.
Elijah didn't have tike to thank him, Leo had left too quickly. He submerged himself into the tub. He wasn't sure what the bottles all meant but he knew what the bar of soap was and cleaned himself with that. He got out as he finished and toweled off. He pulled on the clothes. There were a bit small but not uncomfortable. They were strange clothing. He stepped out of the "bathroom" amd into the main foyer where he remebered there was a couch. He wasn't sure what to do next.
Leo was sitting on the ground in front of the coffee table, his cheeks still pink but not as red as before. He had a pair of black glasses on now, some of his hair was falling in front of his face and was looking at a bunch of leaflets that were scatted around before him. He didn’t see nor hear when Elijah came back.
Elijah walked up to him. He was confused on what was on his face. It looked almost like tiny, clear boxes. He wasn't sure what they were. We're they some sort of torture device or other? "What's on your face?" He askes.
