"I'm not your boss, go ahead." Beaux gestured her hand towards Naomi. She wanted to see how this would play out, and see what Tam looked like when, he was serious.
"I'm not your boss, go ahead." Beaux gestured her hand towards Naomi. She wanted to see how this would play out, and see what Tam looked like when, he was serious.
Tam nodded, slightly scared now that he had to do it. It seemed that years of ducking into shadows had rubbed off– had he become a coward after all that time?
He needed to prove that wrong, to himself and those two girls he needed to protect.
He took a step, now exposed. Suddenly the enormity of what they were doing crashed onto him and before he could back down he pushed away all rational thought and ran.
He ran towards Naomi, the rod held above his head. He reached her quickly but she'd heard him coming and was on her feet in an instant, blades in hand and staring him down. She clearly wouldn't go down easily.
"Well damn. Willa," Beaux smirked and pulled a few shiny knives from her pocket. "Want to do some target practice?" Spinning one in her hand she threw it but missed, purposely. The life flew close, but right past Naomi's leg, hitting the target board behind her.
Naomi flinched and in her single moment's hesitation Tal swung the metal rod and hit her over the head.
She fell backwards with a dull smack and Tam assumed she'd lost consciousness.
Surprised by the ease of the fight he spared a glance for the girls. In his distraction, he didn't see Naomi sit up and kick him in the leg, knocking him to the ground.
She suddenly had him pinned down, a vicious smile on her face. "There's nothing you can do, Tamlin," she told him. "I'm going to kill you just like I did Ella, just like I did Eli."
Through his fear, the taunt sparked an anger in Tam he didn't recall having.
(OH MY GOSH ELLA AND ELI)
Aza smiled at Finn. "I'm glad he has someone who cares about him so much," she said both genuinely and pointedly.
"We look after each other." Finn stated plainly. "It's an unspoken rule, I suppose. No one is left behind."
(OH MY GOSH ELLA AND ELI)
(I HAD TO)
(oh sh*t…..)
Wila looked around quickly for something heavy finding the weights nearby. "Beaux, you got knives right?" She asked, jogging over to the weight area

In a surge of rage Tam managed to overturn Naomi and turned the tables, now sat on top of her.
This wasn't about escape anymore– she'd made it personal. He bent down close to her. "You never earned the right to speak their names," he spat in her face. He looked away from her to seize the metal rod which had rolled away; with gritted teeth he pressed it horizontally down into Naomi's throat, choking her.
"Now," he sniped. "Apolgize."
Aza smiled at Finn. "I'm glad he has someone who cares about him so much," she said both genuinely and pointedly.
"We look after each other." Finn stated plainly. "It's an unspoken rule, I suppose. No one is left behind."
Westan looked mildy awkward. He pushed his brown hair back from his eyes.
Aza simply gave Finn a smile and a wink.
"Yeah, I took some when she wasn't looking." Beaux laughed then skipped over to Tam. "That was pretty intense, but fun. Well she's out, so now what?" She spun and headed to the door. "Lead the way."
Naomi went limp beneath him. Tam jumped off of her, breathing hard.
"I didn't kill her, did I?" There was an undertone of disappointment in the question– it terrified him.
Sighing Beaux stomped over to Naomi and bent down. She put her two finger against her neck right under her jaw. Waiting a few seconds, she felt a little puls. "She's still alive. Might really hurt when she wakes up though."
Tam nodded. "What happens now? We don't know where to look."
"How am I supposed to know? I've only been here three years, you two have been here longer. Think." Beaux glared at Tam. One minute he was tough and down to do anything and then the next meek and scared. "If you won't take character and start standing up for yourself and those you love, you'll always been seem as the weakest target, just some thing people can take their anger out on.They won'tsee you and an equal."
Tam inhaled deeply, trying hard to keep his still-raw anger under control. "Thanks for the advice," he said coolly. "Let's search the building, we might find something."
Wila hand found a duffle bag in the corner and filled it with knives and other makeshift weapons. "Does he have an office?" She asked, jogging over to the two and glaring down at Naomi
Finn leaned back against the wall, stretching his legs out in front of him. He still wasn't sure how to feel about this new person, Azalane, being stuck in this place with him and Westan. Sure it was nice to have some company, but Finn couldn't bear the thought of someone else having to go through what he had. More people meant more experiments. More experiments meant more torture, and more torture meant more death.
He shook his head. Snap out of it, everything will be fine. Finn told himself sharply. We'll get out of here.
Westan looked Finn up and down, concern shining in his eyes. "A-Are you okay, Finn?"
"Yeah, of course. Don't worry." Finn replied simply, forcing a smile. "I'm just…thinking."
"We've been in this cage long enough that I know you're lying."
Finn chuckled dryly. "You know me too well." For a moment he considered sharing his thoughts with Westan, but decided that it would be better if he kept them to himself. Finn didn't want Westan or Azalane to start worrying because of what he told them. "But really, it's nothing."
Westan sighed. "If you think that's best," he said resignedly.
Beaux stood and walked out the door. To the left was the hall that led to the cafeteria and the right, the main room. Other than those places she's never been anywhere else. "Do you think he may have an office near the main room?" Beaux had no idea where to start.
Tam tied Naomi up with a metal cord and dragged her out into the hallway.
"She'll know," he justified. "Now I'm pretty sure there's some sort of file storage next to the backstage entrance."
Westan sighed. "If you think that's best," he said resignedly.
He nodded. "Sorry, I just don't want you to worry." Finn admitted, sitting criss-cross on the floor.

He nodded. "Sorry, I just don't want you to worry." Finn admitted, sitting criss-cross on the floor.
"I worry more than I should already," Westan replied.
"Exactly. You don't need to worry about me, because you already have so much going through your mind." He explained simply.
"As it so happens, you occupy most of my thoughts," Westan said without thinking. Immediately after, he blushed a rather nice carnation pink and buried his face in his hands.
Finn could feel himself blushing. "Oh…well I hope that they're good thoughts that make you happy." He mumbled softly, not able to make his voice louder than that.
