Hinata straight up abandoned Cronos and ran back to Jonathan.
(Wowwwww, double standard much? XD)
"There is a person in that bag. Not a thing. And I intend to help that person. But this lovely woman here seems to be worried about what will happen to me," Tolkalee fell backwards and hung from the beam by his legs.
(Hey, Hinata is soft marshmallow fluff when it comes to kiddos)
The figure with the axes then dashed towards Matthew, slicing him by his neck. Matthew managed to dodge it but got a cut on his chest instead.
Chris stood back up and summoned his crows to block the figure’s sight.
Jonathan slowly stood up and his body went up in white flames. “He remind me of someone…” he charged the figure again, this time getting a full burn on the figure’s head.
Suddenly, the case exploded. Fire licked up the walls and floors, and onto the ceiling. Adara landed on her hands and knees. The fire burned white hot, consuming everything in sight.
"See!" Tolkalee pointed to Adara. "I told you it was a person!"
Hinata drew Tatsuo and Katsuo and launched at the figure.
The figure managed to create an aura shield in front of him just in time. It cancelled out the fire in a whole.
“Well then…” he said as he lowered his shield and it disappeared.
The figure got a full hit by both Tatsuo and Katsuo. The figure was knocked to the ground.
Jonathan walked up to him and his leg lit up in flames that represented a dragon. He jumped up and came down, burning the figure’s body with the intense flames. The body of the figure disintegrated, leaving an artifact that reads…
Aura Keeper.
Cronos looked at the artifact. “I knew it…it was Carlsen’s Corrupted form”
Adara stood. The woman snarled, cringing away from the glow in her eyes.
“Is this…are you two going to fight?” The figure asked nervously now. “If so, can you please do it somewhere else?”
Hinata stepped back and carefully cleaned her swords.
Tolkalee was rocking back and forth upside down. "Don't worry, they will fight right here," he pointed to the ground as he said the last two words.
The figure stepped back behind the barricade and created an aura plane which blocks the whole hallway. “Right…tell me when they’re done…”
Chris walked up to Cronos and Matthew.
“You guys good?” He asked, knowing that they can be physical weak.
“Never better…” Matthew sarcastically said.
Tolkalee gave him a thumbs up and turned his attention back to Adara and the other woman. He hadn't shown anything yet, or even acknowledged his feeling. But something felt badly familiar in the woman's aura. He wasn't sure what.
Cronos turned to Hinata.
“Are we gonna find the others or not?”
Another figure walked by Tolkalee, Adara and the other woman. He sighed, walking and bumping into Tolkalee shoulder. He didn’t apologize for it but he did stop.
Tolkalee looked down at him and gave a friendly smile. "Sorry, I'm in the way," he apologized. "Hello by the way."
The new figure cursed under his breath. He was either not friendly by his nature or just angry at something, or perhaps someone. He waved at Tolkalee and walked pass the aura barricade like it didn’t existed.
Hinata nodded.
All the Knights straightened themselves and walked to the door. “Wait…where are we going…?” Jonathan asked the seniors.
“Right…where are we going…?” Chris realized that they don’t know where to find the other people.
Hinata shrugged, sheathing her swords and stepping next to Jonathan.
“How about we just go different ways but go in groups?” Cronos brought up.
“I’m okay with that?” Chris added.
“Hey Hinata, can we leave Jonathan with ya? And we three will go together” Cronos suggested.
"I'm good with that."
Chris shrugged and opened the door. The three Knights; Cronos, Matthew and Chris went left of the hall.
Jonathan held onto Hinata’s sleeve.
“So…we have to take the right…correct?” He was shaking from the chilliness of the room as it affected his ability.
Adara glared at the woman. "What did you do to me?" She asked, her voice hard.
The woman smirked grimly.
The figures behind the barricades chatted and looked at them, both are interested in what will happen.
"Does that really matter, my little star?" She asked.
Adara's hands burst into flame.
