Blaine glanced up at the man and blinked. “Good morning. Something I can do for you?” she questioned carefully.
Blaine glanced up at the man and blinked. “Good morning. Something I can do for you?” she questioned carefully.
"I was just wondering what a beautiful woman such as yourself is doing around these parts so early in the morning." He said.
And the flirting begins… I should have known I could only go so long without it.
“Well, I happen to be having breakfast with my boyfriend,” Blaine answered pointedly, nodding in the direction Andion had left. “I’m just waiting for him to get back from ordering.”
The guy looked over his shoulder with a tilt of his head, "Him? What's a woman like you doing with him?" He raised a brow, "Surely you have standards."
Blaine raised her eyebrows at the man. She’d forgotten what pricks guys could be.
“I do, in fact. And he is it,” she answered, trying to keep calm. “He’s a wonderful man.”
"He looks like he kills for a living," He snorted, rolling his eyes, "Or he crawled out of a dump."
“We just arrived after a long trip. If he looks disheveled, he has a right to be after the length of time we were on the boat,” Blaine declared, narrowing her eyes.
He raised a brow, "A boat? Where were you travelling from that required such a long trip?"
“My home town,” Blaine answered without truly answering. He didn’t need to know where they were from, more did she want him to know.
"Vague but okay, not much of an open book then," He scribbled something on a napkin as he noticed Andion coming back, "My address if you ever feel like stopping by." He winked and walked away.
Blaine shook her head as the man walked away, tossing the napkin to the side. She smiled at Andion as he walked back, then nodded toward the other man.
“Someone was very curious about me,” she murmured under her breath.
Andion glances over at him for a moment and raised a brow, “Was he? What did he say?”
“He was flirting with me, then asked what we were doing here so early when I told him I was with you. I just gave him a vague answer, but he didn’t seem quite satisfied with it. He might have kept asking if you hadn’t come back,” Blaine mused.
Andion sighed, glancing around the room to make it look like he wasn't trying to get another look at him and noticed him looking at the two of them, "He's still looking over here."
Blaine blinked, making sure she didn’t look over as well. That would only make him suspicious.
“What do you think he wants?” she murmured under her breath. “Think he suspects anything?”
"I doubt it. Unless he knows who we are and what we do," Andion replied, picking up a fork from the table and fiddling with it, "We don't look suspicious."
“You’re right,” Blaine murmured, watching as he fumbled with the fork. “What do you think he wants, then?”
Andion shrugged a shoulder, pointing the fork towards Blaine, "Probably just wants to shag you or something. To bad that's my job."
Blaine scoffed and rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she finished chewing. “Ah, yes, too bad indeed. He did mention that, too…”
"What? That he wanted to have sex with you?" Andion raised a brow.
“Seemed to be something of the sort, yes. Which was when I told him that I was here with you,” Blaine muttered, rolling her eyes before taking another bite of food.
Andion frowned, taking a few bites of his own food before he continued, "Ass. What did he say after that?"
“He asked what I was doing with a man like you,” Blaine huffed, shaking her head incredulously. “And then asked if I don’t have standards. To which I informed him that I do have standards, and you are them.”
Andion tried not to look too offended by what he said and just rolled his eyes, "Of course an asshole like that would say something along those lines. I know I'm not the best dude out there but you know.."
Blaine smiled at him, reaching over to give his hand a squeeze. “Yeah… He may have also said that you look like… you kill for a living.”
Andion squeezed her hand back with a small smirk, "Well he ain't wrong there now, is he?" He murmured.
“You don’t anymore,” Blaine reminded him with a soft laugh.
A smile tugged at his lips, “That is true, you’re correct there.”
“Anyway, I explained that we’d just gotten here from a long boat trip, though I gave no details about where we came from or why we arrived,” Blaine continued with a shrug.
“Good,” Andion sighed, “I forgot how observant and nosey the people were here. Honestly gives me the creeps at times.”
