Light burst into being. A few halls away, there was a room. The room was bare, and white, and clean. The only thing in it was a stream of light from the ceiling to the floor. And floating in it was Adara. Unconscious, bleeding, most likely dead.

Tolkalee was on the other side of the room from where he'd been the night before. His eye had followed Cronos closely and he stayed silent as he watched him wake up Chris.

A figure wandered aimlessly into the room Adara was in and was shocked at what he saw. They walked up to Adara’s body check for her heartbeat and pulse, hoping that she was still alive.

"I wouldn't touch her if I were you," a harsh voice said.

The figure stopped before their hand reached Adara’s body.
“Who are you…?” They asked.

The figure stepped into the light. It was a woman, deathly pale, with glowing red eyes. "Who I am doesn't matter. What does matter is that you don't touch her. If you do, you may as well have your soul sucked into her body."

(No one needs a necromancer right now I think)

The figure who was wearing a lab coat turned to the woman. “You know her don’t you? What happened to her…?” They asked, keeping their voice calm so that they won’t anger the woman.

"I know her kind. The others are lucky that I got her out before she supernovad," the woman hissed.

The figure noticed a word that stood out to him.
“The others? Who else was her with?”

"Why does it matter?" the figure hissed.

“Alright geez, I just needed to know…” the figure raised their hands in a surrendering kind of way.

Hinata's eyes fluttered open. She noticed Jonathan next to her.
"Whaa?"

The woman snorted, turning away. She sat on the ground, limbs folding neatly. She watched the figure, sharp eyes wary.

Chris and Cronos turned to Hinata.
“When you’re free, we have to tell you something…” Cronos said.
“Something bad…” Chris added and shot Jonathan a glance. “And try not to tell him about it”

Hinata nodded, realization starting on the edges of her consciousness. She had a vague idea as to what took place last night.

Cronos sighed.
“I’ll give you a hint…” he pointed to the cloth he used to hide the blood and the text written in blood on the wall.

Hinata nearly gasped, but didn't want to wake Jonathan.

Chris and Cronos both sighed.
“That’s truly hard to deal with… Cassius died yesterday and we wake up to see that the only member left of the Faltur Family’s dead…” Cronos claimed.

Hinata looked down at Jonathan again.

Jonathan was still asleep.
“That’s good…” Chris said to himself when he looked at the kid.

The woman snapped her fingers, and a black casing surrounded Adara. She walked away, her motions fluid. Now to find what had happened to the other one.
