F@CK YOU! Arie tumbled back towards the dragonling. She tumbled onto its back. She grasped the fur around its head. At first, it tried to buck her off, but then it went back to chasing Skye, more so for the fun of the chase than for food.
Skye growled, running faster. YEAH! SAME TO YOU!!
Arie clung to the dragonling for dear life. It was a slightly scary sight, a smoking vampire riding on a young dragon.
Skye looked back, needing the incentive to run faster.
Arie, seeing her situation, smirked.
"CHEARGEE!"
Skye pushed himself to run faster that that, his paws starting to hurt, as well as his lungs.
Arie pointed at Skye.
"REVENGE!!"
Skyefelt another spark of fear. I HATE YOU!!! he yelled, following it with many many colorful curse words and insults as he ran.
Arie laughed.
I get that a lot!
F@CK YOU YOU B@TCH! he screamed.
You would if you could!! She taunted. Both she and the dragonling were gaining on him.
Skye growled, going back to cursing her every single way he could think of, moving his paws to the rhythm of the curses.
The strange duo had nearly reached Skye.
Skye growled and pushed harder.
The dragonling nipped at Skye's heels.
Skye yelped, and surprisingly ran faster.
The dragonling ran after.
When close enough, Arie planned on leaping at Skye.
Skye dashed ahead at a speed he didn't think he could reach, using his warping ability to get ahead.
The dragonling roared, trying to fly. Its under-developed wings carried a few feet at a time.
That gave him incentive to run faster, though he was beginning to tire. Alright, last chance….. he thought.
The dragonling leaped at him again, nearly catching Skye's paw in its jaws.
Skye yelped, taking one last bound, and suddenly vainshing, ending up in a tree in human form, forcing himself not to gasp for breath even though his lungs were burning.
The dragonling skidded to a halt, waving its head from side to side. Arie looked for Skye.
Skye forced himself to stay very still, and breath slow shallow breaths, despite how much his lungs needed air.
When Arie didn't spot him on the ground, she started scanning the trees.
Skye had his hood up, and was staying very still, his eyes shut tight as the other scann for him.
Arie slowly worked her way from one tree to the next.
Skye continued to stay stock still, knowing it was his only chance.
Arie was near to Skye's tree; she was trying to hear his breathing.
