Rykah breathed a sigh of relief, moving quietly through the trees, still following her curiously.

Winter walked to a pond and sat next to it looking across it.

Rykah watched her from the treeline, his tail flicking.

Winter noticed some red within the trees but acted as if she didn't notice as she stared in the reflective water.

Rykh didn't realize he was reflected in the water, the dark violet highlights seeming more prominent in his hair/fur/feathers.

Winter changed back into her human form and turned to face the trees. "Hello." She said in a manner of knowing he was there and not as if she was questioning or asking if someone was there.

Rykah froze, watching her for a moment, instinctively retreating into the trees.

Winter sighed and stepped forward. "You aren't very discreet."

Rykah continued to stare, not sure how to react. Finally he crept out in sight, his ears tilted back a bit.

"Hello, I am Winter. Why were you following me may I ask?"

Rykah pursed his lips, "Curiosity?" he said, a bit nervous, his wings folding in tightly.

"Alright. Could you stop acting like I'm going to kill you."

Rykah nodded, forcing himself to try and relax a little, his wings fluffing out.

"Awesome wings." Winter said when she saw them a bit better.

Rykah blushed a little, his ears flattening a little more.

"So can I get a name to call you by? Or should I just call you wings?" Winter said in a joking tone and walked over to him.

Rykah watched her, "Rykah…" he said quietly. "My name's Rykah, you?"

"Well Rykah, I am Winter. Pleased to formally meet you." Winter replied with a smile.

Rykah nodded, relaxing a little more, smiling.

Winter nodded and looked around at the area they were in at the moment.

Rykah stayed quiet, preferring to observe rather than speak.

"Have you seen any Royal guards pass by recently?" She asked out if nowhere.

Rykah frowned for a moment, "No…" he said.

"Good." She replied looking around constantly.

Rykah watched her, "What are you looking for?"

"Oh well they were close to discovering something and I was told to stop them."

"Discovering what?" Asked Rykah, intrigued.

"Some cave or something." She replied and looked at him.

Rykah frowndd in thought, his tail flicking like a cat.

"So what exactly are you?"
