"Yeah."
(Who's first mate? I can't remember)
(IT WAS KAM-KAM)
The guards shoved Daso onto the main part of the platform. He stared out into the audience. He saw Dara, her shoulders shaking, mouthing how sorry she was, wearing the bracelet he made for her. He saw Leah, eyes filled with determination, determined to save him. He saw Joanna, worried, ready to jump in at a moments notice. They were all too good for him.
They slipped a rope around his neck.
(OKAY THANK YOU)
( KAMMMYYYY )
(AHHHH! DASO!!!)
Leah's breath caught. If she couldn't save him, he'd be gone. Just like her family. She needed to save someone. There was no running away this time. She steadied her grip on her pistol, lifting it up slowly.
Cicada tried to run up there, but the guards held her back. All she could do was stand and watch in horror.
"Any final words?" The priest asked, his eyes on his son.
Daso lowered his head. "Sorry," he replied. "That's all. I'm truly sorry."
Joanna secured the rucksack of food on her back, she didn't want to lose it if she had to dash.
Kameo stood up, wobbling and holding onto to Ace's body. Tears rolling down his cheeks, Kameo hoisted Ace onto his back and walked into the medbay, laying Ace down on a table and taking a hint of satisfaction that Ace's skin and eyes were turning back to normal. I guess the cure reverses the whole "reaper" look even when you're dead.
She narrowed her eyes and lifted the pistol in the air. It kicked back against her shoulder, the bullet hitting it's target.
The first Inquisitor crumpled to the ground. She fired again at the second, gripping the pistol tightly.
She turned to Leah. "I hate assume the worst, but incase I never see you again, I just want say it been an honor sailing with you Captain."
(Dang I posted a split second too late.)
The crowd erupted into chaos. The priest ran for cover, leaving Daso tied up with his neck still in the noose.
Joanna dashed up to the platform scrambling up to free Daso.
Cicada heard the gunshots and immediately assumed it was the captain. She broke into a grin, but it was quickly removed as the guards attempted to force her back into her cell. Cicada fuaght against them ao she could stay and increase her chances of being reached.
Leah fired at the second and third Inquisitor holding Joanna, and began to make her way towards the platform. She hoped that Joanna was getting Daso and Joanna out of the way.
Joanna ran up to him, fighting past the guards still surrounding him. Daso managed a crooked, sad smile. "It's nice to finally hang out with you, Joanna."
Staring at the sight of Ace's open eyes was starting to make Kameo sick. He didn't want to look into Ace's cold, dead, purple eyes, even if they were dreamy. He reached over and brought Ace's eyelids down, still crying.
"Really, a pun right now?" She muttered as she untied his hands. "Come on, let's find Cap's look-a-like."
“A little help over here!” Cicada shouted as the guards were now successfully pulling her back into the cells.
Joanna dashed over to her, and knocked out one of the guards. "I'm Joanna. You?"
He slipped out of the noose. His brain was a mess, but now that he'd endangered his friends, he had to stop thinking of himself. He had to save them. "She's probably back towards the cells. This way!"
While his friend's were having a battle on Sole, Kameo was bawling on the floor, heart broken. Again.
Leah put her pistol away, reaching for her sword, managing to stab one of the Inquisitors. She moved towards the next one, her sword hov-
A shock of cold cut through her side, sending Leah falling to the ground and clutching her side.
“The stowaway, now get me out of these chains I want to stab some people!” Cicada snapped at her.
Daso glanced around, grabbing a pistol from one of the guards. "Where's Leah?" He demanded, realizing he couldn't spot her in the crowd.
"Okay okay. Nice to meet you too." Joanna knocked the other guard unconscious and grabbed the keys, unlocking Cicada's handcuffs.
Leah's sword and pistol clattered away from her, as she clutched her size, her hands already coated in dark, crimson blood. She blinked black spots out of her vision as she tried to push herself up.
