"Okay?" He said, tilting his head curiously.
"Okay?" He said, tilting his head curiously.
Skye nodded, suddenly shifting to the form of a large, very large, wolf.
(Sorry, stuff happened, also his fur is the same as his hair)
He blinked. "Holy Shit."
Skye padded around the clearing, stretching, "This is why I'm called Wolfheart…" he said, giving the other wolfish smirk, "And why those creeps are after me… and why I hate my hair.."
"…You're a wolf!" He said, totally not geeking out.
"Half wolf." said Skye flatly, trying not to laugh at the other's reaction as he kept walking, making sure to favour his still injured leg.
"That is awesome!" I swear, he walked right out of a YA fantasy novel holy fuck-
"To you maybe." said Skye, "It's a big pain for me."
"Right…"
Skye sighed, finally lying down in the middle of the clearing. "Stars… I needed this…"
He sat next to him. "Almost a half moon." He said, smiling up at the sky.
"I know, but it's not the moon I worry about.." he said.
"Figured. But you know, magic and moon cycles. Kinda became habit." He said, shrugging.
Skye smiled, "Yeah, I can see that.." he said, "Just like I know that we should be able to see Pegasus on the eastern horizon tomorrow."
(Don't blame me if that's all wrong, Skye knows stars, I don't)
((It's fine, I don't know stars either))
Micheal grinned. "Always thought pegasi were cool."
"I meant the constellation" laughed Skye.
"…I knew that." He lied.
Skye laughed, "Liar" he said.
He pouted playfully. "Am not!"
Skye laughed, his tail flicking happily.
He smiled, leaning back on his hands.
Skye sighed, when suddenly he froze, before suddenly shifting and shoving Micheal to the side, landing on top of the other. A pair of arrows sprouted from where he and Micheal had been a moment before.
"What-" He blinked, turning his head. "What the shit-"
"Hunters." said Skye, and note of fear in his voice. "We need to run. Now." he got to his feet, dragging the other with him, and burst of violet and silver aura sheilding them as another pair of arrows was aimed their way.
He staggered to his feet. "Well, let's fucking go!" He said, poised to run.
Skye didn't need anyone to tell him twice, he grabbed the other's hand and bolted. Injured leg or not, if he had to run he would run. Sure, his leg hurt like hell and felt like it was about to give out, but he ignored that in favour of tearing through the trees as fast as he could.
He sprinted after him, glancing back every now and then.
Skye wasn't tired, though he was breathing hard as they tore out of the park. "I hope to gods you can keep up!" he yelled, pulled Micheal through the street, nearly causing an acident before running into an alley.
"I'm trying!" He called back between pants.
