The figure stopped, approximately 4 meters away from Hinata. They shot their head up, revealing a plain smiling and white mask they wore. “Greetings Mrs. Hinata, I’ve been waiting for you” the figure bowed.
Hinata was startled at first, but her instincts took over and she bowed back.
The figure stood up straight. “Mr. Michel and Mrs. Ayashi are waiting for you. Please follow me” they turned around and waited for Hinata to walk closer.
Hinata tilted her head, but moved to follow the figure.
The figure walked to one specific room, one with tags on it. They knocked on the door.
Tolkalee didn't trust the person in front of him so he went quiet and followed.
Hinata stood behind them.
A figure opened the door. “Oh, what is it Sir Lucas?” he asked the figure as the figure gestured to Hinata.
The figure in front of Tolkalee walked and stopped, walked…then stopped. This cycle went on for while and is still going on.
Tolkalee followed his target in silence. He figured that the person was trying to make sure he wasn't being followed. Tolkalee was a master of following undetected, so he wasn't worried.
(Wait, is that Michel who answered the door??)
loki looked up "Nyx help me this is a wasteland of nothing"
(Wait, is that Michel who answered the door??)
(Yes it is)
The figure in front of Tolkalee arrived at a white door. The lantern beside the door revealed to the figure was though it was someone new. They seem to not know of Tolkalee’s existence as they opened the door and walked inside.
"Hi, dad," Hinata said. She walked up and hugged him, tightly.
The figure who took Hinata here turned around. “I’ll leave you three be, I’ll be waiting outside. Mrs. Hinata, once you’ve finished, there is another person who wants to see you for a different reason” he said as he closed the door, leaving the family alone.
Ayashi walked up to her daughter, joining the hug.
They stayed like that for several minutes.
Tolkalee didn't immediately follow into the room. He cracked the door open and peered inside.
The figure in the room was looking through a bookshelf. They got out one of them and began reading it. They then walked to their working desk and started highlighting somethings in that specific book. Due to tiredness, they walked from the working desk to another room to sleep on the couch. From that angle, a Knight’s ability artifact can be seen on them; meaning that they were a Knight at some point.
Crink Crack Drip……Drip……Drip……
These sounds echoed in Tolkalee’s hallways, presumably from behind him. A faint groan can heard as well as weak footsteps. Signs of crimson can be seen coming from the corner, shivering.
When Edge reached the room number 57, he unlocked the door. Inside was a portal, a chair and a basket. The portal wasn’t open yet. Edge picked up the basket and turned to Seth. “Place your tag in here” he requested.
Tolkalee whipped around to see what the sounds were. He back into a dark corner hoping not to be seen.
Seth set his tag in the basket. "Thank you for this," he said giving Edge a look of gratitude.
A disfigured figure turned the corner where Tolkalee was, not seeing him. He didn’t have a face…rather, the front of his head was just a mouth with teeth as sharp as razors. His tongue was sharp as well and was as long as a snake. They walked slowly, seemingly like a drunk person.
Edge smiled at Seth. He chanted something while holding the tag. The tag disappeared and the portal opened. “Go ahead…” he gestured to the portal.
Tolkalee didn't want whoever this was to notice him. He figured it probably couldn't see him, it didn't look like it had eyes. He pushed the door open slightly and squeezed inside, closing the door completely behind him. Then he moved away from the door.
Seth walked up to the portal and looked at Edge one more time. "I'll probably be back a little later," he said. "But I'll be alive then." And he stepped through the portal.
The disfigured figure left the hall Tolkalee was in, not noticing him at all. The first figure who was in the room was still asleep, with the highlighted book on his workshop.
Edge smiled as Seth left. He closed the portal and placed the basket down where it was. He left that portal room, locking it before walking back to his room.
Staying quiet so's not to wake the sleeping knight, Tolkalee walked over to the book to see what was in it. Before he started reading it he glanced up once more to be sure the knight wasn't awake.
The book looked old, probably decades old. Some of the words were unreadable but the pictures helped. The pictures on that page were of Matthew and Cassius specifically. X’s were on their necks with the words ”Hell is waiting for you both to return” written underneath them.
"Sounds nice," Tolk commented. He glanced at the sleeping knight and figured that he should wake them up. He walked over to a wall and knocked on it hard.
The former Knight jumped at the sound and stood up immediately. The figure’s eyes flashed a light blue color and hundreds of small crystal daggers surround Tolkalee. “Your name and purpose of coming into my room…” He requested.
Tolkalee looked at the daggers unimpressed. "Hiding from something that doesn't have a face," he said looking at the knight. "And as for my name would you rather my warrior name? Or my healer name?"
The Knight looked at Tolkalee carefully. The daggers disappeared into snowflakes. “Never mind your name, I already know you Mr. Sylali” he stood up straight. “And that something you were talking about was a Knight, a weird one sure, but a strong one” he added, yawning afterwards.
