“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner,” Ellie told Miko looking sadly at her knees

Miko cupped Ellie's face in her hands, looked her straight in the eyes and while channeling spirit to her she said "You were just waiting for the perfect moment"

Ellie’s cheeks turned bright warm when Miko put her hand on them. “ Ya, I guess you’re right.” Ellie said resting her forehead in Miko’s shoulder.

Miko gently wrapped her arms around Ellie then put them on her shoulders an put Ellie where she could see her "if this is to be real we need to actually say the words. do you want to say them or do you want me to say them?"

"The… words," Ellie asked in both curiosity and fear. "You mean 'I love you'-" Ellie said before cutting herself off and getting a sparkle in her eye. "If that if what you want to say. Miko, I love you. I love you so so much,"

"i guess i have to say them" Miko stood up and took Ellie"s hands into her own and looking right into Ellie's eye she asked her one question "Ellie will you go out with me?" a smile spreading across Miko's face and pure joy shot up and down through her

"Yes! Of course, I will," Ellie said with pure happiness. She threw her arms around Miko.

Miko reflected how Ellie felt and wrapped her arms lightly around her waist

Ellie looked up at Miko. She went on her tip-toes and lightly kissed Miko's chin. She rested her head against Miko's chest. She felt warm with a hint of nervousness in Miko's arms.

Miko had her arms wrapped securely around Ellie to protect her from as much as she could in that moment

"Um… Miko can I ask you a question," Ellie asked shyly.

"anything" Miko looked down into Ellie's eyes and smiled

"When did you start liking me," Ellie asked letting so of Miko and holding her arms.

"a little before Arien l-l-" Miko couldn't bring herself to say that he had left although she knew he was gone silent tears fell down her cheeks as she remember him "Before he l-left and she came"

"Miko, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," Ellie asked wiping Miko's tears with her sleeve.

Miko smiled but sadness pulled her mouth flat "No it's not your fault Ellie. You did nothing wrong."

"Are you sure your obviously sad. I don't want you to be sad," Ellie said holding onto Miko's hands as comfort.

Miko twined her fingers through Ellie's and closed her eyes and pulled strength from the earth as she opened her eyes she looked at Ellie and after a while she said "It was hard to get over what had happened"

"It's always hard to get over tough things, but I'm here for you," Ellie said with a bright smile. Ellie went up on her tip-toes and kissed Miko's cheek. "If you need to talk I'm here,"

All Miko could muster was a blush and stammering "o-okay"

Ellie giggled a little at Miko. "I don't mean to laugh, but did I render you speechless,"

Miko slightly nodded not being able to speak because of embarrassment for herself being speechless which made her blush further up onto her ears

Ellie smirked, "Well let's fix that." Ellie said pulling on Miko's shirt so she could reach Miko's face. Then Ellie grabbed Miko's face and kissed her lips.

Miko kissed Ellie back with passion

Ellie was in almost shock and let go of the kiss. "Sorry, I just got scared,"

Miko nodded her face was basically the color of fire

"Not of you, It's just…." Ellie said nervously as her face turned bright red. "I've never been kissed like that. I got scared I would mess up," Ellie said breaking eye contact with Miko.

"no you can't mess up a kiss" Miko smirk at how cute Ellie was being

"Are you sure?" Ellie asked nervously. "What if I do mess up?"

"you can't mess up a kiss honestly it's all a hoax there is no wrong way to kiss someone" Miko laughed a little more at herself than Ellie i sound like my dad
