Dusk looked Miko straight in the eyes "I-is it true you hate life?"
Miko looked down "ye-yes i do."

"W-what," Ellie mumbled looking blankly at Miko.

Miko looked at her "I've hated my life since the day my father was killed before my eyes and well Dusk was a comfort until High School"

“Oh my god Miko why didn’t you tell me anything I-I could have helped I am your best friend and I want to be-“ Ellie cut herself off before she could finish her sentence

"Be what Ellie? You say it." Miko looked at Ellie with a soft look

Ellie hugged Miko and whispered in her ear, “Miko, I want to be more than just your best friend.” Ellie got nervous and quickly left Miko’s mind.

When Miko came back she realized she was blushing and ducked father into her cloak

Ellie ran into her bedroom and shut the door. “You idiot, why did you say that? Now Miko will never like you.” Ellie said pounding her fists on the wall.

Miko put her chin in her hands "I never thought that E-ellie liked me" now blushing and smiling like a fool

Ellie flopped on her bed. “Why would she ever like me,” Ellie mumbles to herself. “But, what if she did like me,” Ellie mumbled squeezing her pillow blushing.

"I-i…Ughh" Miko couldn't say her thoughts out loud but she did stuff her face into a pillow

Ellie laid face up staring at the ceiling she placed the pillow on the floor. ok I can’t stay in my room the rest of my life. I need to face this head on. I’m going to talk to her. Ellie thought to herself as she stood up and walked to the door. She slowly opened the door and say Miko with her head in a pillow. well it’s now or never Ellie thought as she sat next too Miko. “Um… Miko, I-I understand if you don’t like me…. it’s just… I wanted to tell you,” Ellie mumbled staring at the floor.

Miko looked at Ellie with a soft, small, understanding smile "Ellie don't be ashamed love is love and well i kinda…" she blurted the last part fast to get it over with before she could stop herself "Like you too"

Ellie hugged Miko. “Really,” she mumbled breathless almost. “I’m sorry I just threw this at you,” Ellie frowned letting go of the hug.

"It's okay. I could sorta tell you did" Miko laughed

“Really,” Ellie whispered

"yup heh" Miko had her hood up and had hidden her face with it

Ellie pulled Miko’s hood down “don’t hide your pretty face Miko,” Ellie said softly. “Your too beautiful to hide” Ellie continued. Oh my god what am I saying. I’ve completely lost it Ellie thought frantically. Ellie took a deep breath and Kissed Miko’s cheek without thinking.

“I’m so sorry Miko” Ellie mumbled.

Miko was blushing and her mind was racing all she could say was "eh heh"

“Are you mad at me? If you are I’m so so so sorry.” Ellie said super apologetically.

without warning Miko kissed Ellie

Ellie kissed Miko back. “I-I….. umm..” Ellie tried saying but couldn’t muster up the words.

Miko laughed "I finally got you speechless"

Ellie looked at Miko in awe still speachless

"I'll take that as a yes" Miko smiled even more and her cheeks had brightened from pink to red as her blush furthered past to her ears

Ellie’s cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment. “So, um…. do you feel the same way..?” Ellie mumbled nervously.

"yes i do" Miko had yelled that with pride lighting her features

Ellie gave Miko a bright smile.

The pride flowing through Miko was making her element of spirit spike and amplify it
