Miguel blinked as he heard the elf speak. He turned and tried for a smile, seeming more awkward than friendly, "Nice to meet you. I'm uh, I'm Miguel."
Miguel blinked as he heard the elf speak. He turned and tried for a smile, seeming more awkward than friendly, "Nice to meet you. I'm uh, I'm Miguel."
"Sorry for me being blunt, but can you breathe fire," Elizabeth said with a wide grin forming across her face.
"Kind of…" Miguel mumbled, not proud of it. He looked down at the floor wondering how she would respond.
"Kind of?… You don't need to answer if you don't want to. It's just I saw the smoke, and I don't have powers. I just have really good aim," Elizabeth rambled.
Miguel looked back up, "I can. I'm not proud of it though." He stated.
"Is it because of your….. Species. Like, how I'm an elf that's what I mean nothing affective.
Klaus watched the interaction between the them, sipping quietly on his drink. "Hello," he said finally, drawing their attention for the first time. "I'm Klaus, by the way. Sorry for not introducing myself sooner, but I was a little caught up with your conversation. Anyways, species is nothing to be ashamed of. Er, unless you're a half blood, apparently," he added, mumbling the last part and looking down at his hands. "Oh, but I'm not discriminating against them. I am one."
Elizabeth rubbed her arm before stepping back a step and grabbing her tea. She took a sip. "Nice to meet you, Klaus," She said covering her ears a little better. "I-I don't like my species," She said rubbing her arm and taking a sip of her tea. "M-My brother was a half-blood,"
Miguel frowned, he was indeed a half blood and hated every part of it. "I'm an imp half blood, not something you see everyday."
"I'm a complete elf," Elizabeth said giving him a glimpse of her ears. "I don't like it though," She whispered.
Miguel had already easily sniffed out that she was a full elf, but he didn't let on that he could detect it, he nodded in time with her statement, unsure what to say next.
"Um….Sorry for my bluntness but What exactly are you…" Elizabeth asked rubbing her arm again.
Miguel thought about whether he should answer or not before sighing, "I'm half imp, half human." He didn't go into to much detail.
"Imp?" Elizabeth asked.
Miguel frowned, "I'd rather not go into detail." He replied with a small shake of his head.
"Oh, I'm so sorry if I offended you or anything. I'm not really proud of my history either," Elizabeth rammbled. She finished her tea and through it in the garbage
"I'm not a too insightful person." Miguel responded.
Klaus hummed quietly, then said, "I'm part human part siren. Basically the only power I have is healing when I'm exposed to water which, don't get me wrong, it's hella convenient, but most people don't like my kind. Er, the siren part of my kind, I should say. Ya know, the old legends and everything kind of give us–them–a bad rep."
"Ya, I was never born with powers. So I developed my own power. it's not cool it's more helpful," Elizabeth said glancing down at her bag. She always had at least one dart on her for self-defense if she ever needed it.
Miguel stayed quiet, thinking. He watched the two carefully, Water healing and good aim, huh… His eyes flicked around the busy coffeehouse trying to pick out any other scents.
Elizabeth noticed how Miguel looked around and started acting odd. "You ok?" She questioned.
Miguel stilled his tail a glint in his eyes, there were other scents but too many humans had come in to pick out the others. “I’m fine.” He replied an edge to his voice.
"Ok," She said sitting back down. She scanned her surroundings seeing if there were any sketchy humans around. She didn't trust humans.
A scent of darkness hit Miguel’s senses and he turned his head to the dark looking girl who sat in the far corner, he watched her carefully.
Elizabeth also noticed the girl in the corner. She knew she wasn't human but she didn't know what she was.
(She is human, enhanced human I believe)
(oh sorry)
Klaus followed their gaze and lifted an eyebrow curiously. "What's up?" he asked.
Kiara ignored the others. Could they be more obvious? This was a city full of common mortals!
(Yeah, enhanced human.)
"Oh, nothing," Elizabeth said quickly shifting her gaze back to Klaus
