Skye struggled to focus in this class too, pain and nausea becoming overwhelming.

Skye glanced up, half startled. "Yeah.. just didn't sleep well…" he lied, trying to keep pain out of his voice.

Skye nodded, "positive" he lied. More like heck no. I'm in pain and ready to puke and/or pass out.

He handed him a granola bar. "Here, it has a fuck ton of sugar in it, plus chocolate. Chocolate fixes everything." He said, smiling softly.

Skye stared at him, but he didn't hesitate to take it. "Thanks…" he said, you have no idea… he thought nibbling on some.

Finally the lunch bell rang. Skye still felt hungry, but the granola bar had helped with his queasy stomach. Soon he was limping out of class and down the stairs, headed for the cafeteria, even though it hurt his ears. Knowing it was safer inside.

Skye eventually gave up staying in there, stumbling outside feeling utterly awful. Soon he flopped down in the grass near the rocks, not aware that he was near Micheal.

Skye jolted up, staring at Micheal. It took him a few moments to register, but he finally sighed. "Hurts like hell." He said flatly. "And you can't tell anyone about me. Or about the hunters."

@CWPoofToxicRush

((I'm so sorry, I was at my grandmother's all day and didn't get to tell you))

Micheal nodded seriously. "Ya know, I might have some healing spells in my boom at home, if you want to stop by." He said, a bit awkwardly.

(No worries, my issue is when people leave for three days straight, (Or a month) without warning.)
Skye looked up at him. "I'll be fine on my own okay?" he said, suddenly defensive, "I've dealt with them before, I don't need anyone caring for me.."

@CWPoofToxicRush

He bit his lip. "I know, just… it does not look good. Look-" He dug into his pocket. "I'll leave you my address, and you can come if you want to, okay?" He said, getting out a scrap of paper and a pen and scribbling the information down.

Skye grudgingly took it, grimacing at the bell. Thank god I have tech and not gym… he thought, getting to his feet and limping off.

The rest of the day was hell for Skye, who felt like passing out as he stumbled out of school. He ignored stares and whispers as the rumor mill started, but all he car-
He froze. Just outside the door. Color seemed to drain from his face as he spotted several hunters around. He knew they were hunters because they all had this mark on their neck, and they showed it boldly.
Skye gulped, forcing fear back down his throat, as well as bile. Fear would make him irrational, and therefore vulnerable. They knew he was injured. So running wouldn't help unless he shifted. And he couldn't do that here.
Suddenly he spotted Micheal, a spark of hope. Heading over to him he casually looped an arm around the other's shoulders. "I need to get out of here, now." he said, keeping his voice low.

Micheal nodded, smiling. "Hey, did you get what was happening in math? Cause I didn't." He said, speaking as if they were just having a normal conversation.

"Yeah, the Pythagyrem theorum." he said, "Finding sides of triangles…" he laughed, believably. "Why, did you not understand it?" he asked, infintly grateful that the other had went with it.

Skye laughed, "Nah, you're not dumb, just slow." he said, though he was still tense as he let Micheal guide him onto the bus.

Skye limped up the steps, sliding into an empty seat, his eyes darting nervously around him noting the locations of the Hunters. Sighing he slid back knowing he was safe for now, but only for a short time.

Skye took it gratefully, needing to calm down. He sank back in the seat as the bus pulled away. "Thanks…" he mumbled.
