"What do you mean. Mind if I check this?" She asked, gesturing to the wand
Rachel remained skeptical, “Uh huh. So what next? They have the stick. We could try to steal it from them?”
"No, follow them in a disguise. You make sure they dont find the other staffs. I'll let school management know that you will be leaving on amaextended leave."
Kanoa looked hesitant to hand it over. If what the visions, or whatever they were, had shown her was true, this thing was important. "I mean, there are more magic sticks. And I think one is yours."
“Understood,” Rachel nodded solemnly. She was probably the best choice for this, her cousin and brothers were all idiots.
"What? Where is it?" She asked, slightly panicked
Archer sighed "you'll have a shit ton of work to catch up on. Max go with her. You are the nerd so you can help her make plans. Sorren and I will watch them here."
"Let's not talk about this here." Kanoa shook her head, standing and brushing the now dry sand off of her shorts. She twisted her hair up into a bun, using the stick-no, wand-to keep it in place.
“It’s not like I need to pass school,” Rachel emphasized the need, “Besides what if I have to stay on school grounds to follow them hmmm? Not like they actually know what they’re doing.”
Kova nodded and stood up, dusting her shorts, she followed Kanoa back to the school, making sure to watch for any prying eyes.
"This is why I said to use a disguise." He muttersd, turning around and heading back to the school
Kanoa didn't bother putting her shoes back on, just walked barefoot the whole way. "So, where ya from?"
"Oddly enough, in from London. Lived there since birth then moved at the age of 10. I have a slight accent but not overly prominent." She laughed lightly
"Wow, outta the country, huh?" Kanoa's lips quirked up in a small half smile. "I grew up in Honolulu, until I was fourteen. Then my family moved to Brooklyn for some job thing."
Max turned to Rachel as Archer left. “I’m not a nerd, right?” he complained to her.
Rachel sighed and turned to go and get supplies, “You are a nerd. Come on let’s go and get supplies.”
Max followed her, grumbling under his breath. He was not excited about this if this beginning was any way to judge it.
Rachel wouldn’t be one to go against Archer, even if she found his plan slightly idiotic. She needed to figure out a way to make herself not look like herself… Dye her hair maybe?
(Ahh! I'm sorry! I'm not on during the weekends!)
Londyn slapped her head, feeling the impact of a memory drawn to her, struggling to but barely breaking free.
~
"Oh, come on, Kova! I don't know why I bother to do things like this myself!" Londyn teased, jabbing her in the rib, attempting to do the same to Kanoa before she jumped back, a playful smile teasing her. It was a nice, spring day, and the stream was glistening in the mid-day sun. Now, if Londyn could only remember where she was…
~
(I'm also assuming she saw them go to the beach, because I feel like crap not posting over the weekend. I didn't read all of the posts, but I read the ones revolving around where the other two witches are, at least.)
Londyn grumbled, putting her hands to her temples. She had to wait a few minutes before she could walk without proving to be a hazard to herself. With an intake of breath, she looked up, wondering where the oceanic scent came from. She looked in awe at the beach before taking the fastest route there: through the window. She didn't know how this beach enthralled her, she had seen many beaches before, but she knew she just had to be there. She saw the other two and approached them.
"I'm not crazy, right? So it's okay to say that I know you from somewhere, wherever there might be?" Londyn's voice was a mix of curious, bold, and cautious, and however that made any sense was a mystery.
Archer came back to his office muttering to himself. He started taking things out and sitting down at his desk with one thing in mind, to do something before everything goes to hell.
Kova stopped and looked at Londyn and sighed "you're right from what I gather. Neither of us know what's going on." She mumbled
"So. What do we do? There's gotta be some reason that we know each other. Why didn't we know before? Why didn't we know of each others' existence until just now?" Londyn was both contemplative and hysterical.
"Londyn, calm down. West here found a wand. I think its hers because in my vision I saw something similar to it beside her." She explained, gesturing to Kanoa
"Okay, but someone please try to explain what's happening? Or can I just go back home and pretend this never happened? Get relocated somewhere?" Londyn sighed in frustration, biting her lip, a bad habit of hers when she was in an uneasy mood.
"I don't think so. I think we are…connected in a way. And I think that girl and boy who came to our door have something to do with it." She said, frowning
"Sorry? Who? Did I…miss something?" (YES, YES YOU DID, LONDYN! BECAUSE YOUR CREATOR DOESN'T RP ON WEEKENDS!) Londyn stares at Kova, concerned.
"You were still passed out when this happened. Rachel and this other dude came to check on us, just as we gained consciousness." Kova explained
"A snake and a rat." Kanoa mused to herself, slipping the wand out of her bun and studying it.
"Let's head back to the room and talk about the other sticks." Kova muttered
"Yeah, of course." Londyn said, uncertainty in her tone.
Max mused about how to look different. He could die his hair and wear fake glasses? That was so obvious. What the hell did Archer want from him this time? He glanced at Rachel to see if she had anything.
Kova sighed and jumped up, grabbing the low hanging roof and pulling herself onto it.
Archer took out his phone and sent a private text to Max 'watch Rachel and make sure she doesnt get any ideas.' typed and turned off his phone e
Max glanced at the text, feeling slightly better about his spot in the hierarchy. He would try his best to keep Rachel in check. He wondered if maybe some makeup to cover his freckles would add the impression of not looking like himself.
